Copper or Crowder?

It looks like we have two WRs who are very good special teams players, but not so great at the WR position. Copper probably has the edge at WR. I thought he played well last year, but kind of bowed out to Crayton at the end of the season, and reports are he hasn't had a great camp. I have even seen the word "regressed" used when speaking of his performance at camp. It looks as if Crowder is more of a playmaker on ST (at least so far). In the end I think we can carry one ST ace at the 5th WR position. Who do you think it'll be?
My guess is Crowder at this point.

Crowder based on what he did in the game against AZ

Crowder is invaluable on special teams. He could become our best special teamer this year. And with Crayton coming on, as well as all the hype surrounding Merritt, Copper could be odd man out. But dang, you can't help but see some huge upside to Copper, although I didn't hear a peep out of him during training camp, and nothing of yet in preseason.

Upside - man I hate that word.

Go with the guy producing right now. Last time we held on to upside at WR, we had to deal with Randall Williams for a few years.

My take as well Fletch. I thought Cooper would bring something. I'm still hoping he will show up.

Copper.

The choice is pretty clear there. Crowder has not made any strides as a receiver.

I'm not so sure either will make the team but if I had to pick it would be Copper. Copper may not be as good a s/t player as Crowder but I think he'll contribute more at WR.

Crowder. Haven't heard a word on Copper all of TC. Crowder has made several plays on ST, & you can't teach speed. Besides, it looks like Crowder wants it worse.

Thats what I am thinking too...not so much as a mention in any of the write ups about Copper making a catch at least Crowder got mention a time or 3 for a catch...

Keep Cooper instead of Crowder. Base on the fact that Cooper has shown more as a WR then Crowder and you don't lost much with Cooper as a gunner on Special teams.

Hmmm Randall Williams

Another physically talented fast receiver who could not catch the ball.

Morgan = Randall Williams :D
