We finally have turned the bad field goal Karma as well. First miss against Dallas in terms of Field Goals this year. Akers has never missed a field goal against the Cowboys. EVER. Teams have been kicking 50 yarders like they are 5. Teams have kicked something like 25 or more field goals in a row against us.
Finally! Takes a 60 yarder to end the streak too sheesh!
Good God can you imagine if they would have had Cortez kick it because Akers Hamstring still isn't strong enough to go for a long one and then Whammo Cortez would have beat us. He would have hit it like one of his kick offs and for the first time ever it would have gone straight and for 61 yards and the guy we released would have had his revenge and the streak against us would still exist!
I think I would have died!!
The Cardiac Cowboys strike again. I was so pumped after that!
