i dont know how old of news this is but had anyone heard that the cotton bowl is moving to the new cowboys stadium? What the F? i read this while reading an article about how there is gonna be an nba all star game in that stadium in the next couple of years. now my ultimate question is whats gonna happen to the red river rivalry? is it gonna stay at the fair grounds or is it moving to jerryland?

Texas and OU have agreed to a contract with the City of Dallas and the Cotton Bowl Committee through 2011. After that, it's anybody's guess after that, although I'd wager they stay in Dallas at Fair Park well after that.

It's such a big part of the Texas State Fair tradition, I'd be sorely disappointed to see it end.

I am glad the Cotton Bowl Classic is moving. They got left out of the BCS because the Cotton Bowl Stadium is old and antiquated. The new digs will help make the CBC one the big bowls again and if a playoff system gets implemented they can be involved.

The same thing may happen with Texas-OU. That would be better than it turning into a home and home series, which has been speculated.

Texas A&M and Arkansas will be playing a 6 or 8 game series at the new Texas Stadium starting next season.

On the other hand that makes a whole lotta sense also.
