Giants coach Tom Couglin said RB Brandon Jacobs (knee) and WR Domenik Hixon (ankle/foot) will not practice Wednesday.

Coughlin said Jacobs is "a little bit better," but offered only that the Giants would "do the smart thing, the thing which is medically recommended" when it comes time to make a decision on Jacobs status for Week 15. As for Hixon, Coughlin said that his swelling has gone down since Sunday. He seems likely to play Sunday.

I hope they come full force and we crunch them. This team has to be farting thunderbolts after letting that game slip away from us .

Care less if they are healthy or not just want to beat them!

With the division wrapped up and a bye week in hand it will be interesting to see if Coughlin pushes players who are banged up such as Jacobs and Hixon

Jacobs is #1 on my most hated list for NFL players. I can't stand that guy.

If he plays I hope we crush him... if not then fine.

It will be interesting to see if they rush guys back for this game. It seems like Coughlin wants to treat every game likes it's equally important so I bet he plays it the same as he would if the division were on the line. That got him a SB last year, wouldn't it be ironic if they lost a lot of players this year and lose in the divisional playoffs because of it this year?

Yup, I think Hixon will go for sure, but not so sure about Jacobs. They still have a good running attack with Jacobs out though. We will have our hands full yet.

I wonder if the Giants owner (forgive me for forgetting his name, I remember one died a few seasons ago) will call out Jacobs for sitting out.

They have the division won, are in the playoffs and are not fighting hard for a playoff spot genius..

I just want the W. I don't care who plays, or doesn't play, and I don't care if we win 3-0 as long as we win.

Actually, the chance of taking the Cowboys last gasp at the playoffs away is a pretty big motivator.

And they haven't locked up home field throughout yet.....

And it's a conference game....

Divisional game....

Brandon Jacobs (knee) reiterated Wednesday that his status for Week 15 against the Cowboys isn't up to him.
Jacobs owners can't be counting on him this week. "It's just something that keeps nagging and nagging," he said. "Me going out and playing on it the last seven weeks, it didn't make it any better. I have to do what they tell me to do and hope it gets better. I want to be healthy for (the playoffs)."

They locked up a bye and their game vs Carolina next week will determine Home field through out the playoffs. I'm sure knocking the Cowboys chances down is a motivator but not sure how much he is willing to risk injured players. We will see

:hammer:

Trust me, they would want to get home field advantage and be fully healthy for the Panthers than to possibly have their best RB get injured more seriously in our game.

If Jacobs plays, it will be a limited role.

Tuck said it himself, they are more worried about themselves than the Cowboys and you (dfense) are insinuating they are more worried about us than themselves.

To me that makes more sense and that is not to say the Giants are not planning on coming into TS and beating us I'm sure they are but not at the risk of doing more damage to Jacobs with an even bigger game coming up a week later. They have Ward who is a very good back as well

I got $100 that says if they dont play, Michaels and Fat Head will go on and on about the "Giants injury situation" and "all the players they are missing", and never say jack about the multitude of guys we're playing without.

From that post a few back it sounds as if Jacobs is pretty much conceding that he's not likely to play.
