Could a Patriots Super bowl win shame Jerry into doing what's necessary

Stephen won't let him, end of story!!!
You're probably right Steven doesn't want him spending his inheritance on useless stuff like coaching
.
Or a general manager that could build the team in a proper manner where it could be successful.

Heck Steven probably tells him dad you've proven anyone can coach the team Barry Switzer won you a Super bowl

That was probably the worst thing that ever happened to this fanbase.

looooooooool

The spot in Jerry's brain where there should be a component for the feeling of shame got devoured many years ago and no long exists. His narcissism took over that spot and several other spots in his brain as well.

So no, no shame at all for him. Jerry will keep on grinnin' and enjoyin' himself.

Jones top competition is the Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Rams. This is the pecking order of teams he truly cares about.

1. Cowboys ........13 Billion
2. Warriors...........11.5 Billion
3. Rams.................10.5 Billion.

In response to the OP question, NO, another SB win by the pats won’t shame Jerry.

The bigger issue isn’t shame. The real issue is Jerry and his privileged son are lacking skills that are needed to understand how to build a roster capable of winning playoff games (plural)

That’s the real problem. They suck at football roster building. They do not understand how to manage the cap. They are poor judges of complimentary talent and they are so arrogant, they can’t learn.

We have 3 decades of receipts.

Jerry is in his 80's. I doubt anything will change his ways at this point. Especially when he has hired yes men around him.
This is a really good point about Jerry being completely surrounded by “yes men” and sycophants.

When an organization or leader needs serious change, the first thing that must happen is being exposed to the brutal truth. No punches pulled. Without the the truth, arrogant leaders are fools. Because they are separated from reality. Without reality, arrogant leaders don’t change.

If there is someone in Jerry’s circle that is capable of telling him the truth they must be able to say that “his ways” of building rosters don’t work. That’s not even debatable.

Far be it from me to know how billionaires think but Robert Kraft is one of the only people in the world that Jerry would consider himself in competition with.

Kraft has assembled himself a homegrown team with a Chance to take them back to championship level in a relatively short period of time.
His coach is a former player homegrown.
There's no spygate no deflate gate nothing to taint the achievement.

For Jerry it's got to be like Robert Kraft stealing his girlfriend taking her to the prom and being crowned king and queen while Jerry stands in the corner without a date.

I think all it takes is the right trigger to get Jerry to really go all in and I'm hoping this could be it so I'm rooting for the Patriots even though I hate them to see if this triggers Jerry's ego to actually do something instead of just gaslight the whole fan base.
Jerry is changing but to what effect. Sometimes greatness is luck

I wouldn't feel shame if I were Jerry, hes done enough. But it might motivate him

Hiring this DC and having an actual search is already showing signs of change

Jerry is beyond shame
You should have learned that as a Cowboys fans decades ago
You should be embarrassed for even asking this question
Please turn in your fan card to real fans like rambo or CCBoy or Rockport ASAP

They are also responsible for establishing a long-embedded culture that is not conducive for being Super Bowl competitive. Father and son act like they are champions, but it is mainly for show. They are poor leadership examples for the type of work environment needed to get the job done.

Plus, they both are ugly as hell! I said what I said.

He was shamed by Jimmy Johnson (it was the media’s and the fan’s reasonable view that Jimmy deserved all the accolades) by not being held responsible for winning those 2 Super Bowls.

Jerry won’t allow any head coach to ever take him out of the spotlight again.

Jerry is actively sabotaging the organization from ever competing seriously for another Super Bowl.

I learned this by watching the Netflix doc and by someone on this site pointing this out - sorry that I don’t remember who that was.
he said on Netflix that he "likes the pain". when asked about the scrutiny of all the losing and the drought etc.
This sentence sums it up for him. He would rather stay in the limelight and control until the end, and never admit he ain't a good GM. It is so convoluted and it is already too late for him. Even a super bowl in the next 1-5 years, would not really change the fact he has destroyed this team chances for 30+ years. With no super bowls in the next 1-5 years he probably has left being active, his legacy will only get worse.
