Could Aaron Glenn be a potential DC option?

Has Jerry ever met him? Formed a friendship? Does he even know who he is?

Glenn is a former Dallas Cowboys player ( Bill Parcells). So yes, Jerry knows him very well.

Yea, it was two seasons but that was what? 20 years or so ago? My point was that Jerry probably forgot by now. I guess I wasn’t clear

Possible options........hell of a list

*Gannon
*Flores
*Bowles
*Schwarz
*Glenn
All of these except flores will be under contract at the end of the league year.

Of them

Gannon - Sucks. His team gave up and there’s been a weird lack of accountability

Flores - beat to death in the Zone over the last few days

Bowles - not getting fired. Signed a three year extension in the offseason. Also, he sucks. He’s the Bucs DC and they are bottom ten in points and yards.

Schwartz - best DC in the league. The Browns won’t fire him and he has Myles Garrett and a top defense in the league. We’ve got Jerry and Eze.

Glenn - won’t get fired. Woody knows the QB situation was a disaster and their talent is awful. Glenn, still in his first year and loads of money is still considered important to their rebuild. Besides, a former DB who talks about turnovers as his hallmark, is coaching a team with zero interceptions.

I’m sadly coming to grips with these last two games being a tryout for Aaron Whitecotton on the sidelines and that Jerry is going to talk himself into promoting him.

A position coach, whose never developed or implemented a defense is going to be tasked with turning around the leagues worst defense, with some of the worst talent, and a HC with an offensive background.

It’s the kind of weak, comfort move that leaves Jerry feeling in control.

It will 100% be Whitecotton if Eber is fired. The guy with the best defensive group will look favorable in Jerry’s eyes regardless that he got two new DT’s.
