I'd bring him in in a heart beat. I mean, yes I'd take an amazing receiver/TE that could create hell on earth with the amazing receiving core we already have. Escobar can sit in waiting. If he's free, yeah, I'd get him in here and would not blink. Then it's up to our staff to get to him, but I'd definitely take a chance on him, and if it doesn't work out, simple, move on. But I'm in the business, of getting talent. A team that sucks, should not be in the business of turning down anything that could seriously boost this teams talent base. I read it right here that Tony had no team around him, so turning down talent, then whining about not having talent would be counter productive.

Just because "If he gets off" means he has a clean slate. He will be media circus, and you can't erase his past of being thug, along with another ongoing litigation. OJ got off but to vast majority he was guilty, same for Casey Anthony R, Kelly, William Kennedy Smith, etc.
