I think he can be named the 3rd stringer at this point.

But we will see if gets any PT in the finale.

I don't think Henson's lack of play is indicative of anything other than Parcells wanted to give Bledsoe a lot of time this game to get something going. Romo only played about a quarter and a half, and I think Parcells wanted to give him some time, too.

Next week, I bet we'll see the same thing with Henson.

There was an interesting bit in the PC on Friday. Someone asked a question that I couldn't hear--but Parcells specifically mentioned that Henson could be put on the practice squad. It was in answer to the question, but the fact that it was even mentioned, I think, is indicative of what the organization is thinking.

That was Mick trying to stir something up...Too much of a cap hit to make any sense.

The reporter asked if either QB was eligible for the practice squad. Parcells said Henson was. I don't think there's too much to it, though some in the press conference thread turned it into something more significant.

Personally, I think anything could happen.

I also think whomever the backup is doesn't matter. I want to see Bledsoe play better.

Yeah, really. I have never seen a QB throw a worse Screen Pass than Bledsoe has done so far.

Romo looked good tonight, I'm guessing he's the backup...... for now

God lets Tom Landry look through the roof at Texas Stadium. Tom winces every time a screen pass is thrown, like when Meredith was intercepted in the '66 title game ... "they haven't run a decent s. pass since I was coach" he sez...

The change in throwing motion put Henson behind, he struggled early and started to come on late.

The #2 QB does not get any reps, so being #3 will mean working on the scout team and get him more comfortable with the new motion.

I highly doubt we have a 16 game #2 QB we will likely do exactly what we did last year.
