Could it be someone none of us have thought about?

Honestly I kind of doubt it, BUT

I have been thinking about some of the things Jerry said.

Juice on offense, Trade up, but not to far to give up this years draft or next years.

Then I mix in the Julius Jones trade rumors, and the fact his contract is coming up.

To me this adds up to Marshawn Lynch. Lynch reminds me of a young Edgerin James. Very good all around back, running, blocking and receiving.

If Lynch fell to #12-17 range, could Jerry be targeting him?

This would sort of surprise me, but it seems to kind of add up. I guess the real question would be does Jerry think Lynch has some WOW?

I wouldn't be that against it, but I would much rather stand put and see if Ginn falls to us, or trade down. The one problem with trading up for a back means that we are trading for something we already have. So basically we would then have to trade JJ for a pick. If we could get a 2nd for him, then that would fine by me. Trade a 1st and 3rd to move up a few spots, trade JJ for a 2nd, and then have Lynch and our two 2nd round picks would work for me. But I think it is more likely that we trade down if we can get a first rounder next year in return. And I can see us trading our 6th and 7th round picks to move up on day two.

Lynch is impressive, no doubt, but he doesn't have the "can't miss" quality iIwould look for in a player I was trading up for.

No one has thought of Marshawn Lynch?

Eh?

Not only have I been mentioning him for months, I've made comments early today that he was probably talking about Lynch.

I won't lie, the thought did cross my mind earlier.

I still think the one RB he would move up a good deal for is AP.

However I am curious if Buffalo passed on lynch and he was sitting there at 15, one step away from Green Bay, if he would be tempted to move up a few spots to get him.

I doubt it but I have to say it did cross my mind.

I'm fairly certain we wont be moving up for Marshawn Lynch...I'm also fairly certain that I'd hurl if we did

No, it couldn't because personally I have looked at every single pick and player and thought what if.

I think I'm going cross eyed.

Jerry, has came out and said he's not trading Julius Jones. Said that they are well stacked at that position. Basically unless AP falls, then we're not getting another RB. Get over it
