Could Jerry actually spend good money in free agency?

My thoughts? What has Jerry done over the past 10 to 15 years that would make anyone think Jerry wants to win another super bowl? He said himself that all he wants is to be relevant and interesting - that's his goal each season. Good or bad, he craves being in the news. That thrills him more than winning.
You would think he would show more flash as he would be in the media even more either questioning or congratulated him for the moves he made

He was aggressive in making trades, traded away Micah, received Clark, and he traded for Q. Williams. We also traded a 3rd for GP. Those are aggressive moves, one may not be liked by the fans, but it was a move that we didn't see coming. With that said, can we expect Jerry to continue to be aggressive in making moves that shock us? I don't want to see us trade any of our picks, but I would love to see us take an aggressive approach to FA the way we took in making trades.

I'm going to be hopeful that Jerry actually wants to win another Superbowl and will be heavily influenced by his head coach to make the moves necessary. Please give your thoughts!
Well, first of all he'd have to kick like 5-7 contracts down the road. We're over the cap by 60 mil or so. Haven't heard an exact figure. Prolly take 3 contracts redone just to get under the cap and have enough to sign our draft picks. Then 2-3 more to create space.

My thoughts are, someone needs to Cue up that sad Price Is Right music they always played when someone overbids on the showcase showdown.....

back then that was a lot of money and jerry expected more
And it should have taught him to be selective in free agency. Just because a player is the best player available at his position paying him a lot of money doesn't suddenly make him great.

Instead, Jerry and Stephen learned from the Carr signing (and a few others that didn't work out) that outside free agents aren't worth what you pay them and decided to go cheap in free agency. That was an overreaction to their failure to be selective.

Coogie, I really like your takes, most of the time… Please don’t join Rambo and Rockport in lala land… Please.
I don't know who the hell coogie, I know Coogi!!! Sheesh, I wouldn't know what land rock is on he's been a bad boy

He will tag Pickens and use it as an excuse on why he can't.

He promised us in the preseason, at the time of the trade, that the savings from Micah would allow us to add “no less than three and as many as five, pro-bowl level players not currently on this team”

This was *in addition to* what we got with the picks (Quennin, draft, etc. we also already had Pickens so he’s not included either.

After the Giants game he doubled down and again said “three to five”

So, yeah, I’m absolutely expecting he hold to his commitment.
