On a team with a piss poor OL and no running game? Not overly worried about playing Romo as a Bronco

They just signed Leary and will likely go o-line in the first round.

And they could run five Pat McQuistans out there and stone our pass rush. LOL

Candice is not going to allow Tony to make a decision that cost them millions of dollars. Even if he doesn't find a starting QB job, he'll be on an NFL roster somewhere.

Leary is one player, and if they think drafting a OT in the first round in a weak class to block for an oft injured QB in a division including 1 DPOY, 1 player with a 22 sack season ,one rookie of the year and 3 other edge rushers with 10 plus sack seasons is a good idea then I doubt Romo even makes it to our game

It would be a football miracle if he retired.. I'd take that over a trade.

Just come coach the team Tony and stay at home.

I hate the term "weak draft" when it relates to a position, especially offensive line.

Mark Tuinei was an undrafted defensive tackle. Nate Newton was an undrafted player from the USFL. Mark Stepnoski was a 3rd round pick. Kevin Gogan was a 8th round pick. Erik Williams was a 3rd round pick.

There are ALWAYS great linemen in every draft.

Mark Tuinei took about 5 seasons to develop. Newton and Gogan were much the same.

That was also all 25 or so years ago. Nowadays we regularly have runs on OT in the first and OG/C in the second. Flozell Adams doesn't fall through the cracks like he did 15 years ago.

So you trust a rookie lineman who you havent even drafted yet to block any combination of Khalil Mack, Bruce Irvin, Justin Houston, Tamba Hali, Dee Ford, Joey Bosa, Melvin Ingram and probably even Aldon Smith and keep your oft injured QB upright? That wont end well.

And thats assuming they actually pick an OT in the draft. Just because thats there biggest need doesnt mean that is what they draft. Frankly Romo is far better off with the Cheifs or Texans.

Another thing, unlike Houston, KC Denver will be a high volume pass team with Romo like they were with Manning. Houston and KC will lean heavily on strong run games even with Romo at the helm. In Denver, everything is on Romo's shoulders.

Romo's ego would not let him retire. He wants to prove he is a HOFer to fans and to his wife.
But ... if he receives no takers in FA or is insulted by pay, location, etc. I could see him trying to save face and announce, in a hastily arranged presser, that he is retiring. Again, ego.
