Led with the shoulder. Perfect hit. The nfl had to realize the head and shoulder are close together and with helmets being bigger than heads they may collide in that process.

Now they call it hitting a defenseless receiver

Okay, has anyone else heard that it was Wilcox that gave Church the JR candy?

How would a safety handle that today without getting penalized?

God that guy was great to watch in the #31 years. I remember that sideline hit on Shaun Alexander on the sidelines. Both guy colliding fullspeed and Alexander going backwards.

This was Darren Woodson, not the pre-Kelly Rowland Roy Williams.

I'm so excited to watch JJ Wilcox this preseason. He could really bring a physicality this D has been missing.

I remember a lot of members here calling JJ Wilcox just another project. Have we changed our minds so quickly these days?
