Could the biggest draft day screw up be passing on Steven Jackson?

Jeez we could go on all day, but this might be the biggest one since the Joey Galloway trade.
We could have had Steven Jackson and we have to live with Julius Jones and Marcus Spears for how long?

In hindsight, Jackson would be nice. However, NO ONE was thinking that during Julius Jones rookie year. Nobody! He is not the same guy he was then and I don't know what happened.

Romo has showed some warts but I gotta thing a top 5 back like Steven Jackson would take alot of pressure off Romo. I think its rediculous the amount of pressure we put on Romo to win games by himself considering this is his 10th start.

Let's NOT be stupid here. Jackson wouldn't do ANYTHING behind our o-line.

People want to blame the RB all the time without looking at how the o-line is blocking. Get with it.

He'd do alot more than Julius has.

Right on with this....he would suck here and JJ would look good in St. Louis.

So right now you would rather have Marcus Spears and Julius Jones than Steven Jackson. Mark that down in the stupid column.

We have a lot of talent on this team, I would wait till we have coaches who can put them in posistions to win before I judge.

does he play or coach defense?

can he run block for himself?

if the answers are no, then there's your answer

The way the OLine is playing, it wouldn't matter if we had Steven Jackson, Barry Sanders or Jim Brown back there...

There late in the game. Dallas had 6men in to protect against the Lions' 4man front...and the Lions got through. That is flat out PATHETIC

St. Louis hasn't exactly had a juggernaut Oline either. They have played half this season without Orlando Pace. I'll give credit to Jackson he is a better running back period.

I'd rather have an o-line that can block....what is STUPID is blaming a RB for something that he can't control....which is a lack of blocking.

I am with you on this one. Our O-Line is pitiful and needs to be addressed. Notice too that before the season began, 90% of the people on this forum wanted to address the O-Line. We really didn't address it very much, and a lot of those same people are placing the blame on JuJo. Steven Jackson would not do any better with our O-Line.

Bottom line is, until the O-Line gets addressed, we will have no run game.
