About the only argument you can make to me to get rid of Beasley would be the increased opportunity for Dwayne Harris that would result in that release but I really like both players. I just can't ride certain rides with Cole.

I use to think Beasley would never amount to anything and today it would just be stupid to cut a super effective slot receiver. I do remember when Beasley gave up in TC and everyone here was so upset they hated him for being a "quitter" lol , now they love him.

I wonder if he wasn't seen as a scrappy little dude (which people tend to love), and just another guy with the exact same production, if the love affair would be the same. Many folks seem to have a fascination with little dudes in football. With that, I'm not saying he should be cut (and I don't think he should be), but I'm just curious.

I will be surprised if they keep more than 5 WRs. Street is a gimme as the 5th. I like Boyd but I think they hope to sneak him to the practice squad. I don't think Newsome or Byrd are talented enough to ever be more than the 4th-5th wr.

This team likes to stock STers, though. Byrd's got a shot.

He is a great slot receiver, he is pretty much limited to that but on 3rd downs the guy gets it done every time.

I don't remember it being a tuff decision though. We weren't exactly loaded. But I didn't look it up so I could be wrong.
