Could we get away with moving Carr to FS?

What I think you're asking is if they could put a CB on Graham. You probably picked Carr because he is the biggest CB.

A: No.

Q: Will they use a CB to cover the TE Graham and will it be Carr?
A: Possibly. They could just treat him like a WR; although, you will end up with Graham blocking a CB on running plays.

i would do it. I think he would be a better safety than CB. I think moore is an excellent Slot CB and i like what Patmon brings on the outside.

If you are going to change a guy's position for the sake of having him cover someone else...you aren't really changing their position.

No. Claiborne would get killed. This defense is 3 positions away from being a top notch defense. We need a DE that can get sacks, wolb and a true FS.
I think Lee can be that true WOLB next year and I want to see what Lawerence can do but still need another. Then a ball hawk FS is a must this offseason that can then allow church to drop down and play in the box and cover TEs.

Moving a cb to safety is very common .

It's more common than many other moves on football team but without ever getting an inkling of the Cowboys thinking of such a move, simply discussing it on an Internet forum is pretty much a waste of keystrokes.

If they were going to move a corner to safety I think it would be Moore who's actually played the position.

He played FS for RR that one year for a couple of games I'm down for this move.
