when he was the #1 in Jax he did nothing, I'd like to see him signed though for cap friendly deal.
Does anyone read anymore? That was months ago. Now he can work out and he says he was lightheaded afterwards. He's not 100% yet but the symptoms are going away.bounce;5028196 said:I like him - and he and Tony had good chemistry. But, he needs to retire. He has to sit in the dark like 90% of the day - he can't be around his kids if they're crying/loud. The game just isn't that important.

Ernie Sims has had more problems with concussions than Robinson. If they want to play it's their decision to play not yours.bounce;5028595 said:Do I read every update about Laurent Robinson? No. But it was only six weeks ago that he had to sit in total darkness and quiet.
I don't care if he's "healed." He had four concussions in seven games. And concussions put him in that situation, and more will do the same. Not even 30 and has already felt massive effects of continual head trauma -- it's not worth it.

Reality;5028312 said:I liked Laurent a lot after the season he had for us. I started liking him before his big catches started when the first game or two he played for team, the TV panned over to him standing on the bench waving a towel to pump up the crowd. I did not expect him to do as well as he did, but it was a pleasant surprise to get more than you expect from a free agent player for a change.
That said, I was not sad to see him leave simply because I did not believe him to be worth what I knew FA would pay him. I don't fault him for leaving for a big contract as I think most of us would have done the same, but he left and we moved on. With his concussions becoming a big problem, the emergence of Harris and Dez making remarkable strides in his game means Laurent would likely not have the same opportunities he had when he was filling in as the #2 or #3 receiver.
I don't think signing him would be bad as long as we did it cheaply, but I would not expect him to be the same player he was for us two years ago.

I'd go with Darius Heyward-Bay (if he's still available) as a second choice over Robinson.

how many times did Robinson bail out romo when he was on the run- vs Harris?
