The Cowboys have a chance of sweeping the Division by beating the eagles. With one of the worse defenses in the NFL. I'm not talking about just winning the NFCe, but the whole division. When was the last time that happened?

The Cowboys have already set records for futility on defense. That is what the Cowboys are. NFL record bad!

But, if the Cowboys beat the eagles in this last game, that in itself would be a first in a long time. Sweeping the Division.

Then it would be time to go to the dance. Worse teams then this team have done it.

3 years ago, the then 6-9 Seahawks beat the 7-8 Rams to be the first team with a losing record to make the playoffs. That team was worse.

Historically, sweeping the NFC East is a very good indicator of a team that will go to the Super Bowl. Obviously, nobody thinks that this is the case for our team but that's a pretty good indicator of how poor the NFC East is this year.

The defense is helping too. They did the job that was needed done this game. At least the Commanders punted a few times. That was a first!

Next week will be the 2nd week in a row, in December, to put the Cowboys in a significant spotlight game with all the chips on the table. Its do or die. Its an elimination game. It will be a big TV audience game.

The Cowboys are not a balanced team. They are put together with misfits. Jerry on down...misfits.

But, they are trying. And they tried and did, today. I hope that was a step in the right direction for this team. They better know that there is something to strive for that has not been done. The have a chance for being the worse defense in the NFCe. But they might swept the Division?

Okay, thanks. I don't know why, but I read his statement to say "worse" defenses than ours have made it to the playoffs. It's hard to imagine a playoff defense worse than ours.

It would be pretty sad if we won the east and finish the season 9-7 with 6 of those 9 wins all coming from the East.
We would have swept the East and beat the Vikings, Rams, and Raiders.
