Admit I was very disappointed with what I see as minimual reporting by the media (particularly Dallas media) of Wednesday OTA. I mean they get 1 chance a week to watch the Cowboys' practice & all we got was:
1. Lots of Pacman coverage
including Cowboys positive impression, INT & returns, etc.
2. Romo's left head gets stepped on but didn't seem affect his throwing.
3. Jenkins real impressive
4. Ellis was there
5. Hamlin wasn't there
6. Glenn wasn't there & info re $500,000 waiver we want him to sign
7. Some race car driver named Helio (whatever) catches passes from Romo & Newman covers
8. Curtis #2 on depth chart with Bennett #3
9. Scandarik played
10. Henry working at safety in some defensive secondary formations & Henry willing move perm to safety at some point.
11. Carpenter was working with 3rd team
12. TO was up in NY most of Wednesda, returning in time for PC
13. Dave Campo likes his new secondary
Except for above, I don't recall much other reporting. I expected more because Breer (more then any of the other media types) previously had provided more tidbits on variety of players. I've no doubt that many posters on this board would have done a better job of gathering info to bring back to us. Example: tidbits on most of our 08 drafted players as well as our undrafted players; which young WRs stepping up; whose stepping up from 07 class; etc. Hopefully less national media will be at VR next Wednesday & more info gathered for us, particularly from Breer who didn't report much unlike last Wednesday.
