Tackles from a guy that is playing on passing downs can mean that he was getting beat. I also know that many of them were on ST. I love his coverage on kicks.

did you see how we played our safeties? we played them in off-coverage

Im sorry Im not impressed with a guy that made almost no plays and got all the passing downs. Hes better than Davis but thats about all i can give him.

If you like him so be it I just dont understand why.

I see something in him is why, to determine what type of player he will be is ridiculous

I like how you glossed over that he has 4 INTs already, as a part-time player, that's 1 or 2 less than Troy Polamalu has for his whole career, w/ a much bigger body of starting work than Pat, and it's probably on par w/ DMVP Bob Sanders, as a PART-TIME player

:laugh2: this is why I love you, theo

whatever him trying to argue that teams dont pass a lot more on nickel downs is just dumb.

He can try and make stupid comments and act like a child but im not playing that game with him again. Resortiing to ridicule to boost your ego is just sad.

his recent trend of getting drunk and posting

OMG <insert insipid comment>!!!!!!!1!!1!

when he cannot make a valid argument is fun and all but ill pass.

Really the int stats dont posit much. i just didnt really see him ever make any plays. If you like him so be it. I just havent been impressed by his play and would like an upgrade. Our secondary play was very unimpressive as a whole.

i understand he played the deep zone and I like to see guys that do that making plays on the ball. I didnt see much of that and as such I want someone who will.

I gave you examples of him making plays

for comparison's sake:

Pat Watkins as a rookie starter in '06, in about 10/11 less games-3 INTs idk, it probably was 8 or 9 less games, can't remember if he started 6 or 8 games

Sean Taylor as a rookie starter in '05-4 INts

1st 2 years, Sean Taylor-6 INTs

1st 2 years, Pat Watkins-4 INTs

I say INTs posit much when you're talking about making plays

btw, getting drunk and posting is played out ;)

You haven't figured out that this is mocking you?

I understand wwhat youre trying to do. You resort to ridicule when you cant make a valid argument. Its the type of thing i expect out of children.

Did you fail to understand that the first time i said it?

Ive come to find that you're quite boring to argue with. It never results in any learning and you don't even know how to do it. You make claims and assumptions and then think other people are supposed to prove it.

You try to project something I call into question your assumptions and then think its me thats supposed to answer the question. That is also dumb.

Youre clueless and you do it all the time. Im just not going to do it anymore cause it ends up with your stupid posturing at the end. And thats all it is theo, posturing.

im not attempting to make a joke. he gets drunk and posts a lot.

He made 4 plays last year. If you are impressed by that thenfine. Were just not going to see eye to eye on it and thats fine. I like the player hes valuable on ST and he would make an ideal backup.

Simply stating that I don't have an argument doesn't make it so. OMGz like you only state that I don't have an argument when you don't have an argument!!!!111

Getting your *** handed to you consistently must be quite boring.

You try to project something I call into question your assumptions and then think its me thats supposed to answer the question. That is also dumb.
Ummm...you made a claim that the pass-to-run ratio is such that it renders the analysis meaningless. Yet you don't even know what the pass-to-run ratio is.

Youre clueless and you do it all the time. Im just not going to do it anymore cause it ends up with your stupid posturing at the end. And thats all it is theo, posturing.
*yawn*

You've given up on this thread and argument several times already.

and no, redsuck fans perusing the board, I'm not comparing Patrick Watkins to Sean Taylor, so you don't have to worry about scurrying back to ES to spread misinformation

Seems like you've simply run out of avenues to argue. It's frustrating, I'm sure.

You can think that if it makes you feel better.

I argue because i truly believe that it is the best way of learning. One of the most rewarding experiences Ive had here was arguing with Adam about the powers of Goodell. I was wrong but it wasnt about that. it was about how much I learned about the CBA and the NFL. I love that.

With you its always red herrings and you belaboring some meaningless point because your ego is too fragile to see you ever admit you could be wrong.. I dont learn anything and it wastes my time. So Im choosing not do it anymore.

But hey you do or think whatever you need to sleep at night

This makes sense. People often end up having to teach you things while you argue. It doesn't make sense to most people because they think, for some crazy reason, you should only argue about a topic when you know what you're talking about. Crazy, I know.
