After reading that- it screams the lack of forward thinking by this coaching staff and front office.
Nobody thought that Beasly was going to try to be eliminated by DC's? That Witten can't live forever?
They do nothing about those contingencies? We have games in a row of how inept Witten is on the field, most of the time and he's still dominating snaps?
They (should) know what they have in Jaylon and their LB's and how Lee is still and always has been on the fragile side and they don't think about this?

I'm not going to complain about the 2ndary because I think that was a forward-thinking risk/reward deal and I approved and still approve of that. Too bad Heath is hot garbage... If Woods isn't starting in his place by... oh... this week- the coaching staff is thinking on some other plane than winning.

The OL, I understand because I believe they had no idea Free was going to retire this year.
And OL's need patience when new pieces are integrated.

Much is expected of Dak due to his performance last year and the overall record. But Dez has had waaaaay too many big time drops in crucial situations. Yesterday was no exception that could have extended a crucial drive.

Team game for sure.
I wonder if there is a stat for how many plays Dez runs the wrong route or cuts the route short or plays he loafs through the route. I counted at least 2 wrong routes yesterday unless Dak had the wrong play.

'I didn’t get a chance to see what the penalty was, but once that happened you just have to battle, and it made sense for us to continue to go for two even from the 12-yard line.'

This is Garrett's quote regarding the two points decision.

What the heck was he thinking, that was horrendous.

Garrett never admits he was wrong, even when it was obvious to the entire world. Those are the kind of people who do not learn from their mistakes. Even his friends, Moose & Troy, have started to question his play calls.

Emmitt is spot on regarding the KR stuff. But Switzer needs to be more self aware when catching punts in a crowded box. His aggression is part of why we love his potential but it hurt us in that instance. Hang on to the ball or fair catch it and protect the lead.
