Dez is elite athletically still. He is not an elite receiver but I could make the opposite argument as well. He's one of the better Xs in the league (top ten or so for sure) but could run better routes and be unstoppable. Not sure why he hasn't learned that better. Maybe this is as good as he gets.

Not sure why we don't run more slants and do more horizontal routes with the wides. Romo wasn't great with slants (as good as the rest of his game to clarify) nor with fades. Maybe Zak is challenged there and maybe part of that is the HC and OC running more vertical routes.

We need to be looking for a better X down the road and we could get a better Y as well although I like Butler as long as he improves as he's done. SL/W is better than good.

I wouldn't be able to sleep the night before the game if John Wetzel was suddenly asked to protect my QB's blindside.

We need to win this match-up and force Arizona to help Wetzel.
