When Irving gets back in 2 weeks, I expect DLaw's #'s might go down a bit as Irving feasts on DLaw being double teamed a lot.

Last night the Cards burned the secondary early for a quick TD.
Then for 3 quarters the Cards were held to a FG and then got a late TD in garbage time.
And that was with Larry Fitzgerald, future 1st ballot HOFer playing fantastic.

The future suddenly does look bright in the secondary. I would put Woods at free safety, shift Byron Jones to slot corner (Scandrick isn't playing forever) and find an upgrade for Heath at strong safety. Maybe Kavon Frazier improves or they sign or draft somebody.

Frazier is a STer only unfortunately. He's got no instincts in coverage and he loves to launch himself at anything and everything without concern for himself or those around him, especially his own teammates. Not sure about his football IQ, he's always seems to be trailing plays and hitting piles late.

Maybe a nickel LB instead of safety.

Agreed. TJ Ward would look good right about now IMO.

We are loaded at corner as it is....Scandrick, ABrown, Awuzie, JLewis, Carroll. This is only Jones 2nd year at FS.

He lacks instincts at FS. He doesn't appear to be real adept operating in wide spaces and having to make reads. He's at his best and his strength appears to be lining up in the slot or over a TE and covering man.

Well he is a corner and Boys aren't cutting him.

He won't be on this roster beyond this season and that might be optimistic if the rookies continue to play well.

And when one says CB is "loaded" it implies depth with talent. Carroll sucks.

No, you find a better FS than him. Woods might develop into that guy.

He's gone from the hateful guy talking about "putting bounties" on Zeke Elliott to pointing out all of the great things happening on the field.
