Hey everyone - I never really contribute articles, but I wanted to start to be a good zoner and give this excellent writer more play here:

The Dallas Cowboys had a strong performance against a pesky foe today to outlast and ultimately blow out the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins played a good game, but the Cowboys just have to many weapons.

Marion Barber is a good football player. The same way I used to say that Emmit Smith is a good football player. Keep in mind, I’m not comparing Barber to Emmit Smith, just the way they play the game. I think we are better when Barber is on the field. He is just a good football player. Barber has three touchdowns in two games.

Nick Folk has been solid. I think the boys are ok as long as we are not talking about our kicker. If he does his job, we dont need to talk about him. Just keep nailing the points. He was our high scorer for the day with 13 points.

Tony Romo really didn’t play well at all, but he didn’t make mistakes. That is really all we need out of him to win the superbowl. He scared the crap out of me when he tries to make plays, but he did a good job of running the ball. Slow down Tony, you aren’t the star. Your job is to get the ball to Witten and T.O. and let Folk add three points when you cant. Romo has six touchdown passes in two games.

Nice to see Anthony Henry making some plays. He is another one of those guys that is just a good football player. Keep up the good work Henry.
Jason Garret did another great job of playcalling. He might be the best thing to happen to the Dallas Cowboys in a long time.

Do Demarcus Ware and Bobby Carpenter still play for the Cowboys?

WHO WAS YOUR MVP OF WEEK 2?

He posts here sometimes. He might respond to this, something about Romo's completion percentage.

Wait until a game where Romo throws more INTs than TDs, then he will be out in full force telling us that going with Romo is foolhardy.

Great. I'll be happy to let him know that his opinion is insignificant and wrong.

Romo IS the star of this offense. We will sink or swim with him.....and so far Romo is showing he just may be a savior for this franchise.

Mark my words......if he beats Chicago or New England.....he will be filthy rich on the bye week. Jerry will want to make the papers on a week when we aren't playing and what a way to steal the headlines and psyche up the team for the second half of the season.

I believe this post of yours is insignificant.

To say that Romo doesn't have a history of being careless and turning over the football when he tries to make plays is like saying that Brett Farve only smokes dope on special occasions. It just aint true.

I think Romo has done well over the first two games of the season. He has surprised me. If continues to play like he has in the first two weeks, I will be happier than Brett Farve on a special occasion.

Romo went 14 for 29 today with two touchdowns. He threw about five that made me shake my head in that "why did you throw that" way. You know the ones that were thrown into triple coverage. He also threw two touchdown passes and a bunch of other ones I really liked. Not really that great today, not bad. I'll comprimise with you and say it was just an OK performance.

I dont want him throwing the ball while being dragged down, or running down the field with the Football in one hand. Anyone who thinks that is a good thing is wrong. I want him to go through his reads and hit T.O. or Witten when they are there and get rid of it when they aren't. I dont like the triple coverage stuff at all. I like the throwing while falling down stuff even less. Jason Garrett seems to be really well prepared. Romo has a good chance to do very well if does what Garrett lays out.

His QB rating was 92 for the game and he had two drops that were right on the money. Your blog says he didnt play well but the evidence points towards you being a biased maroon.

No one has said anything remotely close to that, but whatever.

92 QB rating > OK

Ironically, without the plays that you "don't want" him doing, we'd be far less likely to win this game...but I guess that's not important.

You'r agenda is weak.

With 5 minutes left in the 3rd quarter we were down by 3 points and Romo had over 100 yards passing with zero touchdown passes.

He had a 34 yard Td pass with 4 minutes left on a fourth down. If Garrett didn't take that chance, Romo would have finished with 13 completions for 152 yards and one TD. His performance could have been better.

I'm not bashing him at all, he just didn't have a great day. I liked what he did. He didn't have a turnover and he finished strong. That is a good thing.

Exactly when the **** does Romo have to make the stats YOU want to see if he's leading this team to a victory???

So to prove your point you have to make up scenarios.

Brilliant!

Did romo throw that ball or was that someone else under center?

That not great day resulted in a 92 QB rating.

You cannot just cherry pick what stats from a game you want to consider when determining game performance.

Im beginning to think your bias has morphed into stupidity.

Oh and another thing Owens had at least one drop that was for about a 20 yard game and Witten had a drop that was for something like a thirty yard gain. If you are going to look at hypotheticals the lest you could do is look at it from both sides. When you dont it just makes you look like another eduncan.

I realize that some of my opinions are not always the most popular but I am always first and foremost a Cowboys fan and for someone who cliams to be a Cowboys fan to go around and bash Romo when he is the reason why we have a legitimate chance to go deep in the playoffs just pisses me off.

Someone said before that this guys isnt a cowboys fan but rather a fan of himself and that comment was spot on.
