First, let's thank the good LORD for allowing us a win in an ugly game and basically no dallas cowboys player getting hurt. A win is a win baby! However, do need to check on how ratliff is doing since jay was seen going into the locker room early, but came back to play. Biggest concern though is Sensy, who sprained his foot or whatever, we really need to address that need in the draft for safety next yr. Hopefully Jenkins will be ready for the dolphins game and Austin will be ready for the cardinals game, but get austin in this game for a few pass attempts. Why, remember how austin always has the drops when he comes back from an injury, so let austin play a few snaps and get the drope's out of the way. Our biggest injury though is Fiammeta out supposedly with the flu, we definitely need him big time to open up our running game and that position needs to be addressed in the draft too big time. I am just about finished with my war room and putting up start of my draft. Boy, are you cowboys fans going to be surprised how I set up my war draft room.

Next, lets break down some positions. Like I said about 2 months ago, Romo is elite. I remember some games even roger staubach had with some struggles but didnt get hot till end of game. Romo was off on some passes with robinson and a few other players, but showed why tony is elite now with 4, count them 4 scrambling to his left and throwing key passes. That's scrambling to his left and throwing as a right handed qb folks, thats elite and very hard to do. Only negative from romo I see is that he needs to be more aware of time outs, that could have really hurt if skins didnt call time out, because we had no more time outs left, and ball would have been moved back 5 more yards, which you all saw that kick wouldnt have been made 5 yards back. There was alittle win swirling at skins park, so that could be why the football was sailing on romo a little, because if you noticed some of grossmans ball were sailing too to wide open wrs.

What can you say about Jason Witten, our elite star TE, just awesome. Boy, some of you that said witten was a bust as a draft choice, hope that crow serving is well done for you. We are talking about a record breaking TE, who can do it all, block, catch, set up routes to where he is going and a leader on the team. Bennett had a good game too, I liked how he said, in interview that Martellus always tells players to hold onto the ball because opposing players will try to strip the ball and MartyB saw that the skins were trying to strip the ball but held on to the football and made some key receptions.

Our offensive line really played well except mostly for Costa who got manhandled more than once with the NT grabbing Costa with one mit and throwing costa aside like a rag doll. We need to address that in the draft next yr too. I could see the cowboys drafting the very good center from Ohio U next yr, because centers generally arent taken till late in the first round. Dockery might really be able to help us some in this upcoming game against the dolphins, since he is healthy and not as sore as some of our other offensive line, because its like jason garrett said, and told players all yr, other players need to step up and win in an ugly game like bradie james said in his interview i posted here on cowboyszone.

I still am drooling to get Austin back, combined with Dez and Robinson, we can really spread out defenses and pass like crazy sometimes while running too. Dez played better yesterday too. I found out a few more things about dez yesterday and I wont go into that right now, but working on something that may help dez and the cowboys. Talked to one of dez's teammates that used to play with him and knows his strenghts and weaknesses.

We really need jenkins back because our cbs were abused some yesterday. Hmm, I wonder what newman has to say now about our secondary being so great. Like Jimmy Johnson said, if your going to do the talking, youve got to do the walking too.

I am going to scream next time rob ryan only rushes 3 players, because ryan got schooled by the cotton picking skins young shanahan. Yikes! Wake up rob ryan, your boy that you said was gonna have a monster game spencer hardly showed up. We need more pressure from spencer, where is he big boy ryan?

Our special teams really stunk yesterday and that needs to be fixed, now we know why a reporter said that coach joe d did something xrated in practice last week, because the special teams players stunk it up big time yesterday. Key play by mcbrair though to keep the skins returner from scoring, key play. Boy, what can you say about our kicker, you had better wake up beuhler. Brad sham said that most likely the cowboys will let felix return some kicks because we need a returner on kickoffs and punt returns big time. Brad said that cowboys most likely wanted to get felix legs out underneath him and accustomed back to playing football and felix could be huge in this upcoming game against the dolphins because super murray is gonna be sore thursday.

How did you all like the way jason garrett was taking time going over some plays with romo and wade wilson and mcgee. Also, how jason was getting onto the ref during the game. Awesome!

Enjoy your thanksgiving this week cowboy fans. I will not be posting mickey's and 1053thefan shows tomorrow, I have to go to Houston tomorrow to get my botox shot in my adams apple for my spasmodic dysphonia. So, hopefully someone can post it for you all and I can read what was posted when I get back home tuesday evening late.

Who ever said Witten was a bust as a 3rd round pick? Find one citation and I'll be okay with that statement.

I especially like the point about Dockery being played this week...Kosier has been playing hurt all season with PAINFUL plantar fascitis....this would be a great idea to give him a blow he really needs. Miami will be tough, they have confidence now. Never easy guys: hardest league to win a game in IMO.;)

there were a couple, best i remember too, Hos mentioned that too awhile back, that some zoners were wrong about wasting a 3rd pick on witten. That part im not totally sure about, but a few zoners moaned and groaned when we drafted witten. However, I loved the pick. Thought was a steal at the time. :starspin

Not sure if jason garrett will play dockery or not,, but with what jason said earlier and after this game, that all players have to step up. And cowboys have had to let kosier take a day off every week due to his foot injury. So, guessing dockery might play some, at least to possibly spell kosier some. Not sure how well tyron will play either, being a rookie and all in this thanksgiving game. So, dockery could see some action.
