They posted it during games a few times last year. The irony is if they'd throw him the ball more in those 9 games that "multiple" td would turn into 3 or 4 and they'd win half those games. Anyone remember the debacle against New Orleans last season when Dez went off for 150 yards and 2 TDs in the first half and then the team forgot he existed in the 2nd half? Remember who won that game?

this is where the old saying "stats dont lie, but they do mislead" comes into play.

An example is last year's first Washington game. Dallas trails 28-3 at halftime. 2nd half Dez gets a few TD's, they outscore Washington in the 2nd half 28-10....and lose the game 38-31.

I'm sure there are other similar games. When he gets multiple TDs its often because the team is in a hole and trying to fight out of it...only to fall short....and it absolutely has no correlation to Dez TDs.

I can't stand that jerk, but he's right if that's what he indeed said. Its almost impossible for me to even think of an NFL team that has gone through such amazing, improbable, fabulously entertaining, comedic, heartbreaking and agonizing loss after loss as the 2000's Cowboys.

It's to the point that every time they take the field vs a good team, I try to find my Motley Crue Theater of Pain tees-hirt from 1989 that's kicking around somewhere. I'm depressed before there's a reason because there inevitably will be one. Take the Denver game... proud as hell of the team only to have my giddiness at the possibility of victory destroyed in a single instant.
