I recently bought the 10 greatest games series. I liked the games that were on the set (all five Super Bowl wins, 90s NFC title game wins, Hail Mary game and 80 divisional playoffs vs Atlanta.

What would you say are your top ten Cowboys games of all time?

Here are mine, in terms of how much I enjoyed the game (some I saw live, some not)

10.1972 Divisional Playoff Game @San Francisco. (Only seen highlights of this game)

9.Super Bowl XII VS. Denver

8.1975 divisonal playoff vs Minnesota

7.Super Bowl VI vs Miami

6. 93 NFC title vs San Fran

5. 1979 Comeback vs Washington, 35-34.

4. Super Bowl XXX, finally beating the hated Steelers.

3. Super Bowl XXVIII, Back to back!

2. 92 NFC title game.

1.Super Bowl XXVII. The Cowboys' first Super Bowl in my lifetime, plus complete domination of Buffalo.

The season opener in 1999 against Washington makes my list. Overcoming a 21 point deficit in the 4th quarter and then the bomb to Rocket to ruin Snyder's first game. Loved it.

Lot of good games would inevitably be left out, like the 1983 MNF opener at Washington when we rallied from a 23-3 deficit to pull out a 31-30 nailbiter.

LOL, seems like Washington always finds a way to lose against us.

I hated when the streak ended a few years ago.

The 1993 season finale against the Giants where Emmitt went off with a separated shoulder has to be on the list for me.

Mine would be Staubach's last game against the Skins in 79, we win the Skins are out of the playoffs. Captain Comeback throws 2 scores in the last 2 minutes to knock the Skins out....

That game is one of my earliest lifelong memories, and one of the reasons I'm a Cowboys fan.

I'd have to put last year's Philly game @ Texas Stadium on my list, as it's the only one I've ever watched in Dallas....and it was a fantastic game.

the 1986 opener against the giants.

the 1987 game at new england....andre tippett nearly killed white on a body slam in that game.

walker sealed the deal in both games.

I'm buzzed, to say the least.

Ya that ones in my top ten too. Perfect execution of the play action pass.

It's honestly hard to come up with just 10, but since I started watching in 75 here's the games I remember watching:

No particular order:

1, 2 & 3) would be the Super Bowl wins vs Denver and Buffalo (twice)

4) NFC Champ shutout win in LA 1978...28-0

5) 1980 Divisional win at Atlanta

6 & 7) NFC Champ wins over SF in 92 & 93

8) Staubach's last regular season game, 1979 vs Washington

9) 1992 regular season win vs Philly at home. I was at that game and the entire city of Dallas was as jacked up for a game as I can ever remember. Philly cream cheese was removed from all Kroger stores.

10) This one will be somewhat surprising to some, but the 1990 win on Turkey Day over Washington ranks up there for me. It was kind of the game where we could all start to see our team "arrive"...Aikman and Emmitt had big days, Irvin and Novacek had key plays. The defense played solid ball.

That game wouldn't make my list. Because of what happened to Emmitt and the fact it gave us home field throughout the playoffs, people forget we almost blew that game. We were leading 13-0 at the half and almost choked up the game as well as the first round bye. I was thrilled that we won, but it was far from one of our best games.

1991, against the Giants. Holt picks off Hostetler in the end zone. Hard to beat that.

I loved Monday Nighter against Seattle when Julius was a rookie. He went off that game and Keyshawn had a sick one-hander in the back of the endzone to win it after we got an onside kick.

And the Monday Nighter in Buffalo will always have a place in my heart because i was there :starspin:

The 1999 Opener against Washington is high on my list. The 1993 regular season final against the Giants is right up there. Of course the NFC Title wins and the Superbowl victories are up there in places of their own.

The wins over Philly in the 1992 season are up there simply because it was such a long time coming, it seemed. Troy hadn't been able to beat them, they'd just beaten us to death on Monday night that year, and to turn around and beat them two times that season, on the way to the first superbowl in the 90's, was special.
