The greatest for me probably was the final reg season game against the Giants where Emmitt had the shoulder injury. We needed the win to get the bye so he could heal up. Awesome performance still with me today.

Other tops for me are Tony's comeback against the Bills and Carter's Giant win.

I loved Monday Nighter against Seattle when Julius was a rookie. He went off that game and Keyshawn had a sick one-hander in the back of the endzone to win it after we got an onside kick.
Actually, Julius scored the game-winning TD with about 30 seconds left... 18 yard run, I believe. His 3rd of the game.

I can't believe he fell off the way he did... :(

Some of my favorite games, in no particular order...

- Super Bowl XXX. By then, America was just SICK of us and EVERYONE was rooting for the blue collar Steelers to smash the "cocky, flashy" Cowboys. And it looked like they were going to do it, but then AWWWW too freakin' bad! Hahaha, the bad guys win again! :)

- MNF, Cowboys @ Giants, 2003. Unbelievable game. Terrific pass from Quincy to Antonio Bryant at the sidelines, leading to the game-tying FG from Billy Cundiff. Cundiff later tied the FGs-in-a-game record with the 7th and game-winning kick in OT. Parcells' first win as Dallas coach.

- SNF, Cowboys @ Eagles, 2005. Down 20-7 and dominated all game long, Bledsoe leads us downfield and connects with Terry Glenn for a TD to bring it to within 6, at 20-14, with about 3 minutes left. Then McNabb choked. Tossed the gimme pick-six right to Roy, then pretended his groin was too hurt to finish the game. David Akers' 60 yarder at the gun falls woefully short... Cowboys win, 21-20. We stole this game which we had NO business to win and I absolutely loved it. Stolen fruit tastes the sweetest (or whatever the hell that expression is). This was also the game right after Parcells' brother died, so it made the W extra special for him.

- MNF, Cowboys @ Bills, 2007. No explanation needed... this one's still fresh in everyone's mind.

- SNF, Cowboys @ Panthers, 2006. Romo's first start. What a fantastic night, not only winning a huge game but also realizing we had our QB of the future.

- 49ers @ Cowboys, 2001. Quincy avenges T.O.'s disrespect from a year ago and lights up the playoff-bound 49ers, as a rookie no less. Cowboys win, 27-21. I was convinced we had found our QB of the future and immediately ordered a Quincy Carter jersey after the game. Oops!

The season opener in 1999 against Washington makes my list. Overcoming a 21 point deficit in the 4th quarter and then the bomb to Rocket to ruin Snyder's first game. Loved it.

That was my favorite game, because I just moved to DC that year.

I recently bought the 10 greatest games series. I liked the games that were on the set (all five Super Bowl wins, 90s NFC title game wins, Hail Mary game and 80 divisional playoffs vs Atlanta.

What would you say are your top ten Cowboys games of all time?

Here are mine, in terms of how much I enjoyed the game (some I saw live, some not)

10.1972 Divisional Playoff Game @San Francisco. (Only seen highlights of this game)

9.Super Bowl XII VS. Denver

8.1975 divisonal playoff vs Minnesota

7.Super Bowl VI vs Miami

6. 93 NFC title vs San Fran

5. 1979 Comeback vs Washington, 35-34.

4. Super Bowl XXX, finally beating the hated Steelers.

3. Super Bowl XXVIII, Back to back!

2. 92 NFC title game.

1.Super Bowl XXVII. The Cowboys' first Super Bowl in my lifetime, plus complete domination of Buffalo.

i think the bills game should clearly be up there

I don't think the Buffalo game the season before last can be overlooked.

I was going to mention that one, i still go to you tube and watch the last 5 minutes every so often. It is very hard to beat 2 53 yard field goals by a young kicker. I also love seeing the look on all the buffalo fan's faces and hearing the announcers talk because they were rooting so hard for buffalo and completely anointing trent edwards as the next coming of jim kelly even though his game was not that great. I hate the MNF announcers but seeing them like that made me like it.

We were down 21 with only 10 minutes left in the game! I think its an NFL record for largest margin overcome with least amount of time left on the clock.

Ahh, another great one. The miracle factor of that game was such that Dallas never had the lead during the entire 60 minutes of football, and yet won the game without needing overtime. Dallas did not officially take the lead till a couple of seconds after the game clock read all zeros.

There was also the NYG miracle a few years ago where the Giants became the only team in NFL history to kickoff with a lead, and only 11 seconds on the clock, and still lose the game.

Or the Seattle game a few years ago where Seattle had a 10 point lead at the 2 minute warning and still lost.

I like these outcomes a lot more than giving up two consecutive 75 yrad runs for TDs to lose a game.

I don't know why you guys are mentioning the Buffalo game. I was there and that game sucked till the onside kick.

Nope. That would be Indianapolis at Tampa Bay on Monday night a few years back. 2003 I think. The Colts scored three TDs after trailing by 21 with less than five minutes on the clock. Won it in overtime on a FG. Vanderjagt pushed the first one wide right (sound familiar?) but got a second chance when the Bucs were flagged for leaping of all things. He banged the second one off the goal post but it still went through to give Indy the win. It was also Tony Dungy's birthday and I believe his first trip back to Tampa as well.

Super Bowl VI against Miami is the topper for me.................

I was 11 or 12 at the time, right around the period where I still had Dallas Cowboy jammies, bed sheets and my kid-Cowboy uniform from THAT Christmas.

Dallas, before that time, was the "team that couldn't win the big one". Some of you youngun's might be surprised to hear that, but it's the truth. Dallas was labled with THAT moniker. At that time, I was a die-hard since 1964 and suffered as a kid through the Packer loss's, the Cleveland loss's, and the ultimate smack-down, the SB V loss to the Colts via a last second Jim O'Brien field-goal. That's the video of Bob Lilly throwing his helmet, like 50 yards, up in the air in disgust.

The next year was when they benched Craig Morten for Roger, and we thrashed Miami. To this day, it's STILL the only SB where a team didn't score a TD (24-3). Every team in EVERY SB has scored at least on TD except Miami in that game.

I was like Ralphie on "A Christmas Story" after he got the BB gun for a while after that. Total bliss for a 12 yr. old without a worry in the world. Dallas was the World SB Champs, and all was right with the world...........

Second was the '92 Conference Championship "smack down" of the Whiners and the SB route of Buffalo. But that whole post-season, to me, is one big lump of total joy and fulfillment. You can't put that experience into "one game". It was the whole, redemptive and revengeful cummupance that was long overdue......................

Ah, thanks for the correction. Looks like it was a record (maybe?) for a few years till the game you referenced.

I actually have the game on DVD. One of the most thrilling comebacks in team history capped with a lights out play to Ismael in OT.

Yea, I have that game on DVD as well. Watch it at least three or four times each off season. I love the replay shot of the final play that shows all 22 players on the field. You can really see just how badly the two Commanders safties bit on the play action.

Number 5 was my first ever game at Texas Stadium...I thought we were going to tear down the place when Staubach dropped the ball over Tony Hill's shoulder for the win.
