I know this isn't gonna be popular opinion but they can get a second round pick back at minimum and maybe another 1st if they trade George Pickens you tag him in the offseason try to work something out match an offer if not you let him go before the draft and now you can get your second back or maybe even another first you might have to do that I know people don't want to see it but exactly how have having Lamb and Pickens on the field at the same time done anything the last two games we're losing games 'cause it doesn't matter because other guys are fumbling missing blocks dropping passes it don't matter george Pickens is not necessary for a winning offense we still have enough pieces without him I think we need to get more draft picks and having him on the team for $30 million instead of using that for defense you can use the draft pick you get back for him to get a receiver in the draft a really good one I think we should roll with Flournoy as the number 3 as a candidate for the number 2 while the rookie learns but I don't like think you guys are going to like it we need to allow George Pickens to leave you just franchise tag him first or second round tender you're going to get an extra draft pick.

Save the 30 million and use it on the defense in free agency You don't have to use draft picks for free agents jerry doesn't realize this but when an extra 30 million plus all the cap room we have plus more to come you can build this defense up with the moves they've made today plus that money you save from George Pickens and I know people are not going to like it but I saw the offense the last two weeks i'm not impressed I prefer them to have CD lamb and grow some younger receivers we absolutely do not need George Pickens I like the guy but if we can get our draft back in order and get another number 2 or even a number number one I'm doing that in a heartbeat.

You could have got Hendrickson for a first That's it you could have gave him Green Bay's first and maybe threw in Sam Williams versus what we gave for Williams that's what I was asking which one of those would have been better hendrickson for less Or Williams for what we paid for him....

I don't know what you mean no they gave a first a second and mazi, I'm saying overall compensation seems a little much...

I haven't read the actual details but maybe it's a 7th that can turn into a 6th with playing time you know how that stuff works I don't know does it really matter in both those are throwaways for a guy that possibly would get some 8 game audition whether he's better than what we have now for next year that's the positive you get to see for eight games Is he an improvement and does he help alleviate a big need there and we can look elsewhere him and Williams may be eliminating needs for next year...

That trade is part of free agency you don't bring in a big guy like Williams and not say it's not part of next year's plan I get what you're saying but when you do something like this it makes it less necessary to play big in free agency you just feel the big need I'm not sure about the linebacker trade but we'll see for eight games what he does well And of course you want them to do something in free agency but the draft is going to be more important but that's going to be TBD because we don't know what we're doing with Pickens yet That's going to either get us a some big draft capital and save us 30 million for the defense and then yes we're players bigger players and free agency but if you keep Williams and Pickens I'm sorry dude but if you still expect them to play big in free agency that's asking for a lot especially around here think about it there are a lot of moves that need to be made before you figure out what kind of players you can be in free agency..

Pickens and Williams you know the running back williams not the one we just got and not Sam Williams LOL we got too many Williams...

Have to figure that out first and foremost But these moves are being amazed that you don't have to overpay in free agency Yes a big trade can trump free agency or at least makes it less necessary I know you all don't think that but this is a big move for the future that you didn't wait till Next year you just doing it now you get to see a nice audition of him...

Considering how much better they do with 1st round picks than 2nd? I'm not sad they won't be able to draft yet another TE that does not pan out in the second round next year.

Don't be so quick, they will probably trade back into the 2nd with the GB pick and get you that TE!
