We've never lost opening day to the Giants. I don't like how we keep opening w them sooner or later it's not gonna end up in our favor.

No. And it's not because of Dak or Zeke. I just think our defense is just putrid. I hope to be proven wrong

Will it be 9-0 after tomorrow
Yup,I just read that myself GP.

Regardless of the outcome, I'm very excited that another season is here.

I'm also excited to see how our rookies preform. The future of our Cowboys looks very bright.

We need to go about 5 or 6 years before we open against them again.
Mara will soon have to pay the Reds more to really rig it.....LOL....
I can go a decade plus. I think the last time we the played Commanders on opening day was 2010 and the eagles was back in 2000.

The Giants ended last season as the league's worst defense, 32nd in yards allowed, 30th in points allowed.

They were particularly awful in pass defense, 32nd in yards allowed, 29th in net yards per attempt.

The Giants were 25th in rushing TD's allowed, 26 in passing TD's allowed. They were 31st overall in 1st downs allowed.

Im wondering to what degree a team can improve from the end of one season to the beginning on the next. Did they make all the big free agent moves and high draft selections on defense that everybody wanted for the Cowboys.

The Giant offense is old, beaten up, worn out. Eli is looking at this and one more season tops. A fresh young inspired defense led by a rotation of hungry nobodies determined to be somebodies could surprise and shock even us.

Let's find out.

Well they did pick up 4 defensive free agents and their number one pick was a corner so I think their d will be improved. WE are missing are DE's and a linebacker . And we will see how dak can handle a blitz because they are going to be coming after him all day.
