Nobody overrates Gallimore, but he was a projected starter this season that will be adding much needed depth and snaps for the DT rotation

I don’t share your disdain for Gallimore’s potential impact. I’m hopeful and willing to wait and see.

But on your Hill comment, we have a large enough body of his work to take the position that “I’ll believe it when I see it and not until then”.

Osa has been great (for a rookie). Let's also remember:
    Gallimore played under Mike Nolan
ODiggy has played under Dan Quinn

Osa played pretty well against NO- 4 solo tackles and 2 TFL.

Yes he turned out to be just okay but as a rookie he looked like Warren Sapp in comparison to Gallimore.

The guy who thought nobody on the forum could name another center in the NFC besides our own is attempting to appear like an expert.

Did he just attempt to prove Neville Gallimore was a good rookie by posting tackle numbers of the DT class that year?

There's two problems with that, which are obvious to anyone who doesn't finger paint.

    1) Tackles don't mean much on their own. It could simply mean you're on a bad team that needs to play you on a bad defense that can't get off the field.

    2) All draft classes arent created equal. You could be the most productive player at your position that year (in real stats that he avoided like the plague here) and still not be good simply because the class sucked.

    This is obvious stuff here.

Watch the games. Have a brain. Maliek Collins was much more productive and disruptive as a rookie than Neville Gallimore because Gallimore was mediocre at best. He didn't do much and I say that as a Sooners fan. I should want him to be what these cheerleaders pretend he is already.

Imagine me exposing your lack of football knowledge coming off as a "expert". You think so little of yourself lol.

Yep, it will be nice to get a good rotation at DT, should keep them fresher and hopefully more productive.

If Gallimores performance last season was memorable, we would remember it. Its the same folk that were screaming for Connor McGovern to start, now they want Conner Williams back.

People here are just hoping for the best outcome for what is clearly a downward trend.

Well Collins was able to actually go through a training camp. Osi did too, as did Wentz.

The second year is usually where a DT is able to put on the muscle and make big improvements as far as strength. Everyone was excited to see if he made the leap because he showed some flashes his rookie year.

Let's just see if how it pans out, you don't have to squat on the parade. It's not like you are ever going to come back and eat your crow anyway.
