Dak needs to get rid of the ball quicker and stop allowing himself to get sacked... He holds on to the ball for a long time while he second and third guesses himself into a sack
It really is fascinating in this age of advanced stats that you get such divergent conclusions about similar things. We've also seen stats that the Cowboys are not bad in allowing pressure.
Bingo Also it’s interesting to note that two of the teams allowing more pressure than us have already beaten us. Makes me wonder how Wilson and Watson are getting it done
Why don’t you do me a favor and check out Hopkins stats from 2016 the year Osweiler was the quarterback. Then let me know if you think it’s all the receiver and the quarterback doesn’t have anything to do with it
My bad, I meant the week five stats in the 2nd link. I suspect the "sources" of those stats are different. ESPN, in the first post, has their own stats, the guy in the 2nd link took his stats from another source it appears. Pressure rates are part subjective, it's not as clear cut as say completion percentage or TDs thrown to interceptions.
Oh, yeah they're different sources, but they both tell the same story which lends credibility to both.
Last year Dez had only 100 yards less than that last year and 2 more TD than Hopkins did in 16 Catching balls from Dak I’d say that’s legit
Seahawks are bottom 5 in yards/game. Seahawks are averaging only 9 yds a game more than us and only 20yds/game more in passing yards. We didn't get consistent pressure on Watson, their OL did a good job this past week or our guys weren't able to generate pressure.
Not sure what this tells us. You can hold the ball and get yourself into pressure. The amount of time he’s protected is all that really matters and every time I see that stat it shows Dallas to be in the upper echelon.
