All of this points to a 2017 RB, and Dallas finally looking at the Draft in a real prudent way.

Very encouraging for the well informed connected Fan, next year is a banner year in the Draft to select RB.

You don't put off for next year what you can address this year. Besides, we don't know what's going to happen next year.

Same linked page also says the Eagles would need to leapfrog us in the draft if they want to draft Zeke.
So this site says we want to draft Zeke at 4 and in case the Eagles jump ahead of us we would want to trade for Ryan Matthews.

Sounds like people just throwing crap at the wall to see what sticks

Maybe Jerry wants Zeke and this is his smoke screen so people don't think we want to draft a rookie, thus they won't move up. That's my wild leap conspiracy of the day.

I would have thought this as well....but I just don't see us passing on other areas of real need to draft Zeke when we just added Morris. Before Morris I was hopeful...after that signing It looks like we are planning to either go with a late round back or stay with McFadden, Morris, and Dunbar. Maybe Jerry got his fill of McFadden last year and would actually let him go....

It sucks that Zeke is saying the eagles have shown the most interest in him. I don't want him in Philly or NY.

Eagles need to be worrying about OL and Defense. I don't know. I think this is click bait.

Mathews is excellent out of the backfield catching passes, exactly what Dallas had envisioned Dunbar as becoming, but Dunbar gets hurt... Mathews is healthy.
Why would anyone be opposed to adding a proven vet and another Romo insurance asset.
Chip was and is an idiot at this level, and totally misused Mathews true value, his ability to be the relief valve for his QB under pressure, he lives in the flats.
The Cowboys finally figured out that having a relief valve for Romo with a pass catching RB like Dunbar can keep their franchise QB from getting hammered.
Dunbar Blew his knee out 3 ways..
Mathews is essentially a healthy, better, bigger Lance Dunbar.
Im not understanding the hate here,, just misinformed posting.
Some of you guys make me want to hurl on my dog.

Not happening. The Cowboys are not going to waste a pick for a running back who gets injured a lot. They already have a couple of them on the roster.
