Matchup to watch: Hackenberg's offensive line will face its stiffest challenge of the year in pass protection against Bosa, Adolphus Washington and others. PSU's chance of staying close will rest heavily not only on Hackenberg getting adequate time, but on Hackenberg getting rid of the ball on time, as well.

hackenberg sucks.....he is vastly overrated. we better not be looking at him as a prospect. However, if he is there as a UDFA, I would be ok with signing him.....I hope some team like Washington or Houston wastes their first round pick on the scrub.

I do want me some Braxton Miller though.

I really like Elliott, that DT, and WR Thomas.....but all 3 are most likely gone when we pick at 31. Their S, Bell, looked good.

Based on what I have read, scouts have decided it is the offense they are running, not Hackenberg FWIW. He'll still go high.

I'm a PSU fan and have watched all of their games so far...Hackenberg isn't that bad. I'd say it's about 50% coaching, 25% crappy o line, and Hackenburg deserves some of the blame with the last 25%. He should primarily be in a shotgun spread and if he has time to throw he's going to deliver strikes down the field and move the offense. Apparently Franklin doesn't see it that way though...I will say that I think Hackenberg is only a borderline 1st round talent though, his accuracy leaves a lot to be desired at times and he lacks the functional mobility in the pocket I think all good QB's need to have.


But don't sleep on the Penn State D line though...there are 3 pro prospects there in Anthony Zettle, Carl Nassib, and Austin Johnson. Hopefully we are looking at them along with Bosa and Adolphus Washington from the Buckeyes. And that Ezekiel guy is pretty good too...
