Would make much more sense to move for a roster cut safety after the weekend.
All that minutia is out the window.
The meeting is about Earl mental make-up and the realization this is Earl last shot technically
I was about to post this as well. Let’s hope kt is right with his report. Could be just trying to jump the gun and be the first to report it when it could be not true
Key words in the tweet are “I think”.....this is just speculation
Yes, but the 2nd tweet had more clarity and conviction "I am reporting".....journalism 101
There's no "I think" in this one though....
well let’s see...
only a smart decision if it’s the right deal and price and protection from him acting like an idiot
Still on fence, but I'm leaning yes.
Thing is, doesnt look like Jerry is gonna ask for my opinion.
Hey....there's no reason they SHOULDN'T meet w ET.
At least hear his version of what happened.
He probably realized its gonna be Clowney time if he doesnt say the right things and quickly.
Exactly KT was more definitive in his 2nd tweet 16 mins later.
Earls home is in Texas...He has UT connections all over the Metroplex.... basically this news isn't hard to get
It's perfect.. If he wants in the league he will know he has to walk a fine line.
The guy was in the league for so long and we never heard a peep until he told Garrett come get me.. It's been kind of down hill from there for him.
Adding Earl to this team is huge and people thinking a 31 year old HOF safety is washed up is a joke. He's probably got 4 quality years left in him as most guys with his pedigree do.
Ed Reed, a similar player, played well into his 30's and we didn't see a real dip until Houston picked him up at age 35 or 36.
Though you are 1000% correct to have a "whatever attitude" towards this tweet.
I got tired of the Earl to Dallas situation 10mins after his post game lockerroom visit in 2018
Awwwwww yeah. Lol.
Locker room cancer. Huge mistake.
my interest is piqued.
I’m not 100% sure I trust Slater on this. She was pretty locked in hed sign here before randomly signing in Baltimore
Same for me, on the fence, but just about to go over instead of falling back. Not quite 60 / 40 yet.
I will not complain if signed, actually will probably feel better. But if not signed, will go into the season felling, oh, boy, hope our S's do ok. But will not be upset either.
