These are the teams and offensive rushing rankings of the teams that GB has played:

Jacksonville (75.2 YPG, 30th in the league)
Minnesota (70.6 YPG, 32nd in the league)
Detroit (89.8 YPG, 23rd in the league)
New York Giants (83.6 YPG, 27th in the league)

Now here comes Dallas, rushing for 155.2 YPG, 1st in the league.

Yes, GB's success against those 4 teams is part of why they're ranked so low, but they're also just bad rushing teams.

I think they're good against the run, but not like the stats suggest so far, and I think we're going to see that. I expect Zeke to continue his success running the ball.

GB rush defense is legit regardless of whom they've played thus far. I do believe Dallas will have some success running the ball in Green Bay but honestly feels if Dallas is going to win this game its going to be up to Dak's arm in the passing game.

Like I said, GB is good against the run, but I don't think they're as good as they look based on who they've played. They're giving up 2 YPC and 43 rushing yards per game. Their rush D is not that good. We'll see what happens Sunday.

So basically Dallas is 4-1 and in first in the NFC East but that is not really valid because they have not played anyone good, yet Green bay has the #1 rushing defense and even tho they have not played anyone that runs the ball worth a darn that stat is legit?
This may drive some people crazy but mickeys right when he says fans always pull "the cowboys win...but"

Despite my prediction that they're going to run the ball well, I do think this is going to be the first game where Dak has to sling the ball to score enough points to win, and it's going to give us a much better idea if he's really ready to carry the team like Romo does.

You can add to that list the fact that all the teams GB played didn't have their lead RB for the game. In fact, with the exception of Vikings (Peterson left 3rd quarter), the other 3 didn't have top RB at all.

Moreover, part of the low rush totals involves team vying to throw the football on them. Their coverage has been suspect. Bradford and his top WR ate them up and if Eli had been even a little on target he would've done the same.

Our diversified attack is going to be a problem.

I think throwing on first down will be key. GB has been susceptible - Vikings top WR killed them. Plus i think they are going to be so geeked up to stop our running game early that we would do well to cross them up. Do some play action waggles and stuff like that to get Dak in space.

40 Yards per game is 40 yards per game. Dallas will exceed that, but i think we should consider 100 yards as a team a success. Elliott may just go off though...hes obviously still not a completely known quantity after 5 games either.

They can limit out ability to run if they put enough resources to the task. But that comes at a tremendous cost in your coverage
Don't think they will sell out on the run so I think we will be able to run the ball. The key to running the ball is really about converting 3rd downs. If you convert then you can keep running

The 3-4 is tough to run against because it's very difficult for the Guards to get to the second level and, if everyone stays home, there are no natural holes up front like there are in the 4-3.

Running success against the Packers will be dependent on POA blockers being able to win one-on-one battles (i.e. Fred vs. Guion) so others can make second level blocks.

If there 2 corners are not back, good luck stacking the box as Dak will eat them alive with the pass. Has anyone noticed that in preseason Dak was airing out the ball down the field? Cowboys haven't had to do this yet, as they have been doing fine with Dak and dunk and running the ball. Don't kid yourselves that they can't throw the ball down the field, they are saving that still for when they need too. Why show your opponents all of your cards if you don't have to. Butler is a burner and hitting on a bomb like the Mami game in preseason is a possibility. Butler is my big play guy come this Sunday.

This

GB will stuff the box with athletic linebackers, creative blitzes and make Dak play. Much respect for Capers. He's a good DC.
