Cris Carter, Mike Ditka, Keyshawn Johnson, Adam Shefter, Chris Mortensen, K.C. Joyner, and Eric Allen are seven of the 13 panelists on ESPN's Pick 'Em Panel who picked the Cowboys, making the Cowboys 7-6 favorites over the Packers.

Even if you might scoff at these "experts," at least they are going against the grain, because picking the Cowboys against the 6-point favorite Green Bay Packers is not exactly the flavor of the day.

But it's not like the Packers are the overwhelming favorites either. Just like the ESPN panel, our 10-man panel of pigskin pundits below is split straight down the middle, with five panelists picking the Cowboys and the other five picking the Packers. Here's what each of those pundits think about the Cowboys' chances on Sunday.

Remember the betting line is about where the bets are falling not who they actually think is going to win. Right now the money is on GB to win so Vegas has to make it more attractive for people to bet on Dallas.

I think that BAL/NE game is a lot harder to handicap than that graphic would indicate.

And, is it me, or would we all like to slap every single one of those ESPN talking heads until we hear bones breaking, with the possible exception of Joyner and Ditka?

wow, no love for the Ravens.......that will be a tough booger. As for the GREATEST QB OF ALL TIME----Luck, sorry buddy....no luck. Is it me, or are these mediots cutting Luck a LOT of slack. When he lays an egg, i.e. Dallas, no one talks much about it except make excuses for him. yeah, he may eventually have a better team behind him, but he still is not even in my top 5 QBs this year. Brady, Romo, Rodgers, Manning, Wilson, Flacco, even Stafford or Rotburger not necessarily in that order.

I've said it before, perception overrides reality......Luck 1st pick, Romo UDFA.........former just does not have the team behind him and latter is a choker. SMH.

Non Cowboys voters. 2 eagles ( Golic/Jaws) 1 Steeler ( Hoge) 2 Broncos ( Schlereth/Jackson) Don't know that Wickersham played, and the last is some Robo Better...

In any case , do you think that majority has something against Cowboys Teams.. :):)

This is what we should expect, seeing as Aaron Rodgers is in questionable condition and the Cowboys are probably the better team outside of him.

Bring on a healthy Rodgers and it may still be 50-50.

please, take Aaron Rodgers off the team, and Packers are drafting top ten. I have never seen a QB mean that much to a team. if he goes down, it is over for the Packers.

I am in full agreement -- there is no way a team led by Matt Flynn could ever in a million years contemplate a win over the Dallas Cowboys.

Ok, I am feeling snarky.

I said that watching the first half of the DAllas game from last year. Which reminds me, I have that on DVR. I may go watch the 2nd half of that game just to get pumped. That is the game where that average RB Eddie Lacy ran for 140 yards, and that Joe Jerivious clone in Jordy Nelson made acrobadic catches in the end zone over Scandrich. But hey, those guys are just run of the mill type players.

All these games are hard to handicap or pick outright winners, IMO. I don't see Bal upsetting NE as huge. I wouldn't bet on that game straight up. Wouldn't touch the GB game. If Luck was playing in INDY then I'd consider that a pick'em. I still think Indy can win that game although odds go to Den. I think Car can beat Sea. They have the defense for it. Depends on QB play, big plays, and mistakes. Car beating them is not a huge upset IMO.

I think this weekend will have 3-4 very good games.
