Wow. What else can you say? No Tony Romo, no Dez Bryant, no Orlando Scandrick - no problem as the Dallas Cowboys just rolled over the Green Bay Packers in their house. They are now assured of coming out of the bye as the sole leader of the NFC East. If someone had told us that back when Tony Romo was being taken off the field after suffering a cracked vertebra, they would have been laughed out of the room.

But here we are. And we continue to learn more about this team. They say that you learn more from failure than success, but this way seems so much better. Here are some of the lessons that stand out from that most enjoyable 30-16 win.

Yes, this offensive line is something special. We heard it all week. Green Bay had the best rushing defense in the NFL, and it wasn’t even close. Some thoughtful people noticed that they had not really faced much of a challenge from any of the teams they had faced so far, but this was still deemed to be a real test of the Cowboys’ vaunted rushing attack

Five things I learned
  • When the Cowboys are winning, fans pop outta the woodwork. Tons of Cowboys fans at Lambeau
  • Beasley is Dak's goto weapon and is unstoppable
  • Lacy is really huge and can definitely hurdle people
  • Irving is fumble causing machine
  • Anthony Brown might make Oscan expendable

One thing I learned - or better yet saw: Terrance Williams listens to Witten better than he does Dez. When he caught that long pass at the end of the first half along the sidelines, it appeared for a millisecond that he was going to take it back up inside. Witten gestured with his right hand to get out of bounds and TWill redirected and did just that. Lol. Dez's finger point didn't have that same effect at the end of the game week one. Way to go Witten! And way to learn TWill!!!

This team is playing its heart out with Dak and Ezekiel in the offensive lineup. It's also quite obvious that the defense is doing the same.

They realize that when the offense controls the ball as they do, that they can afford to give it all they've got during their time on the field.

Dak and Zeke have launched a new era within this entire team by energizing virtually every area and all the players within them as well.
