With all due respect to the potential seriousness of the TO situation from a medical standpoint, this Dallas Football team needs to focus on playing solid football.

I worry that even if this "suicide" stuff turns out to be false as we all hope that this team is not going to have it's head in the game. This was always a worry with TO being a distraction of sorts and particularly with all the Media hype and oversensationalization.

Thisis a young team in many ways and it has lost a few leaders in last couple of offseasons. We play what many consider a "trap" game this weekend. This team can't overcome blowing 2-3 games it should win in a season. Just look at last year. The division is too tight and there is too much parity in the league.

Parcells and Jerry need to sit the team down and get them focussed if this becomes a big distraction. It is really a shame, but one of my first reactions to the story is that "TO is addicted to attention" and in some twisted way whatever happened is another "look at me" ploy. I realize this is terribly unfair and that I don't really know TO at all. One report said he was very abbrasive with media Tuesday, others are saying he was joking and trying to get ready to play. It's hard to trust journalism like this.

What is not commonly understood is that these guys are human, and do the same stupid things like you and me, be that mixing pain killers and/or supplements, getting down because they are trying to reprove themselves and have a broken bone in their hand, etc etc. My Brother was boyfriend to Steve Nash's sister Jo-Ann for a couple of years. It is pretty amazing how twisted and blown out of proportion some of the coverage of these people is (and Nash is about as saintly as they come).

I just hope this team gets back to improving on the football field where they are up and comers instead of getting distracted. I hope TO just gets back to where he plays ball as well.

We need to whip the Titans because we should be the better team. We need a road win. We need to prove we used the bye wisely and got ready to play football. Then when the Titans game is over, DALLAS needs to beat Phili, not TO getting some sort of revenge etc.

I'm glad he's ok. I didn't think TO was going to play this Sunday anyways because of his hand, but I wonder what effect this will have on Hurd from a focus standpoint.

Oh I think they will. This is where having Parcells as a coach helps. You watch--he'll shut down the media today in about 5 questions. 6 tops. He's a master at turning something into nothing.

I actually think this will get the team more motivated. If TO really has a problem, they'll want to rally around him. If it's unfounded & due to a leak, then they'll hopefully get mad & want to take out their frustrations.

What'll be really interesting is what happens next week. If TO ends up not playing, I think it will deflate the Eagles more than the Cowboys. You know, deep down, that McNabb has been dying to get even with TO. If TO isn't on the field, that takes away some of McNabb's anger.

Yeah, I think Parcells will have them prepared. I could see Parcells actually using this to inspire the team to win. I could see a "Let's win this one for Terrell" speech coming from him.

I think if he does not play in the Eagles game might even be a better idea for the team and for T.O.it will be Cowboys vs Eagles instead of of T.O vs the Eagles. and the Eagles will sure be deflated.

Can you imagine the crap that will come out of EagleFan's mouth October 8 over this event? Damn, they cheered a guy who might be a quad, they will be positively orgasmic over this incident.

I was gauging some reaction over at Extreme Skins and it looks like the majority put the game aside and wished Owens well.

But you're right, there's no telling with Eagle Fan.

It's the Titans. You'll be fine.

Here's hoping the same for TO.
