Definitely agree. I'd keep him for rotation work only. He had moments where he looked good last year, but nothing I would want to count on him for my pass rush.

I think I would part ways with Selvie and bring back Spencer if the money was right. Still are going to have to add more talent along the defensive front anyway you look at it though. Selvie and Hayden have played their parts and it is time to move on to the next chapter.

that is pure speculation by this bunch. Dez has earned enough goodwill that in JJ and JG eyes I do not think this is an issue, or course I will be honest and say I am just speculating.
Mickey and Eatman discussing football cracks me up. It's like me and my plumber discussing Impressionist Artwork.

Yea, our o-line is good, but the aren't going up against D3 schools, you could say he doesn't have elite speed, but he clearly has speed. You can say he isn't the strongest RB, because he clearly isn't Lynch, but you'd be hard pressed to name a RB that moves defenders forward more. And I'll even concede he has average vision, but he's also one of the better receivers coming out of the back field

I agree with you.

Murray is a very solid player. Not elite at any one thing but not weak anywhere either.

He is a hard runner who can drive forward for extra yards, he can run routes and catch well, he blocks well and he has a good attitude.

I agree that you can find a faster back who will have some homerun carries that murray doesnt get or a shiftier back. I agree that you could find a back with better vision as well.

But are those guys going to have weaknesses to their game in other areas ? And if they dont, then just how cheap will it be to sign them ?

Something to consider when throwing out the idea that a lot of backs will be productive behind this line.

That is the only thing they do on The Break. Speculate. I think it's much better when Steve isn't on it.

Amazing how any rb can loaf to over 1,800 with no power or vision.

It's amazing the stuff that people believe on here. Emmitt Smith ran behind the best OL in history. I guess people would assume anyone could be the best back in NFL history because of that.

So Mickey has Hayden as the fifth most important player to bring back? Does this include Bryant? Or was Bryant a given? If Bryant was included in the list, I would have him, Free, McClain, Murray and Parnell (if you don't bring Free back) in the top five. Hayden would probably be the very last player I would worry about it.
