360. i simmed the season tho to get the stats for the year. 73 tackles for an olb in a 3-4 is a pretty good number, but remember, roy is a smaller quicker lber than most (when you move him to olb) so he gets a lot of tackles. or at least, when i simmed it, he did.

and i used that lineup and played a game with a friend of mine who is better than me. i only lost by 3. he used the patriots though, so i think i did ok.

Maybe this defense would be good if you changed to a 4-3 and added spears as a DT.

We would get killed on the run, particularly giving up long runs, something we statistically struggled with in '07 because Henry is a small FS and Hamlin would be an undersized SS.

Then we'd kill ourselves by getting rid of Roy right now cap wise and signing Samuel. Then we'd still have to find at the very least a #3 CB (and a #4 CB).

This should be obvious why it will not work but since no one has mentioned it I will.

Youre talking about lining up two DE that weigh about 260 over defensive tackles that weigh about 315. Outside fo them you have Ellis at 270 and Roy who might beef up to 250 if he eats a lot of ham sandwiches. At NT you have a guy that is not only 290 but he also is 6'6" which means hes light and has no leverage for double teams.

What all this boils down to is that you could run on that front all day long and then again Monday and Tuesday night. You would literally have the linemen 5 yards back on each and every play because they are clearly outmatched in the positions you are putting them in.

A. Get Roy williams out of the line up.


B. Get a better 3rd corner to replace reeves or have reeves get his foot out of his Crack.


C. Get some of these players some balls so they dont fold and become soft when it counts.

To be honest, I don't think we need scouts anymore for the Cowboys. All we need is Jerruh and Wade sit down and break open Madden on the 60 yard big screen coming up in the new stadium and just try different players and see how they do.

It would really save us a lot of money.
