Good to hear such things coming from Mo -- let's just hope those good vibes continue.

I'm just glad that he's actually participating in a training camp. That's a start.

Good point. I just want to see him in a preseason game. I think he has only played in one his entire career.

If this guy woke up and officially became a semblance of the guy he was projected to be, and if Sean Lee could shake the injury demons.........

That would be like six first-round draft picks added to the defense. This would be huge.

I thought for sure he also said that last year.
Hey, it's preseason, so I'm hopeful

Mo needs to fight, because I wouldnt be shocked if they decide not to start Carr because of his hand and only play him in subpackages early in the season.

And given that Carrs play hasnt made him indispensable, if whomever gets those starts plays well, they could find themselves the permanent starters this season. However that could just as easily be Jones as it is Claiborne

It was the same injury that Murray had last year. Murray did not miss any time. Well, he played less the following week. But back to normal after that.
It is normally 2 weeks to heal supposedly, at least Murray's was. He should be 100% by game 1.

I doubt it. One well timed decent year and a CB can cash in in FA

No one is going to pay him big money with his resume and injury history. At best he does a 1 year deal with someone to prove he can do it two years in a row.

This is true. However the teams seems to be very cautious about injury. While granted I am talking about TC and preseason as opposed to a real game at this point there may not be a big if any drop off from Carr to Claiborne and Jones. For that reason the coaching staff may decide to limit Carr somewhat until he is 100%

A 1 year deal is most likely. However never discount what a desperate team may give someone at a prime position

I don't think I've seen someone with the injury history he has had get a huge deal the year after. Maybe if he plays like Revis, but short of that, I don't see it happening.

Didnt we here great things about him last camp too

Seriously. So done believing this dude, or anything supposedly positive being said.

It doesn't matter, season starts and you are sitting there baffled and confused, watching this bum, grab, hold, not turn his head around, and just panic when the ball is in the air

I can't wait to see Mo this year, with our pass rush all of our DBs will feast.

I like your sentiment but let's be honest - you can either play or you can't and he's had plenty of opportunity to show he has the instincts, coverage skills, will to tackle and confidence to play cornerback in the NFLand he simply has't done it with any kind of consistency.

Mo just can't sell us he's been hurt in some way ever since he's put on the star. Obviously you root for him to be the player that deserved the draft position, but it would be one of the most stunning turnarounds in team history if he ever plays at an elite level.

Really? He had a very solid rookie year, a solid second half to his 2nd year (when healthy), and barely played his 3rd year. Where is this "plenty of opportunity" you talk about? The fact is, he has been hurt, a lot. He hasn't played in a preseason game in his career.

Mo says this sort of thing every offseason. And he looks good in camp every offseason. Then niggling injuries derail things, he plays ok and then give us a big play, and fans pile on him for it. It's kind of a cycle. At this point, I'd like to see him just have a good camp, get some preseason work in, and hit the regular season with as much of a head of steam as possible.
