Cowboys Cheerleaders take the field...

I still maintain that I'd rather have a marching band. Cheerleaders simply don't do anything for me, and frankly, they annoy me. I understand that I'm in the minority on this, but honestly, what purpose do they serve on game day? I won't deny the fact that they do plenty in the community as far as events and charity goes. But seriously, what's their purpose?

Considering that the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders redifined the term "Cheerleader" and have a brand and image that is unique, real easy on the eyes, and most importantly (to Jerry) marketable. I'm a fan of marching bands, but not in lieu of the Cheerleaders.

Their purpose is to entertain the crowd and cheer on the Cowboys. What is so hard to understand about that? We have a bunch of guys in blue jeans and cowboy hats running with flags with big blue stars on them. Are they necessary? We have a new dance team as well, if you hadn't noticed. Do they have a purpose? It's all in the entertainment package known as the Dallas Cowboys.

I've never seen those silver outfits before. Still like the originals better, but those are nice too. The girls are ALWAYS beautiful.

You can't shuffle a marching band on and off the field during timeouts and TV commercials.
