A year after coaching the Pro Bowl, the Dallas Cowboys’ coaching staff will work the Senior Bowl later this month in Mobile, Ala.

Executive vice president Stephen Jones confirmed the news on Wednesday, which had been expected given the Cowboys’ 4-12 season. The Senior Bowl typically chooses staffs from the two worst teams that aren’t undergoing coaching changes.

I'm always excited to watch the Senior Bowl, and even more importantly, the practices. This is a nice advantage to have this year. Both for the Cowboys and the players that get to work with this amazing staff for a week.

That does not mean the entire staff is intact. If you were expecting a head coach or coordinator change, you were wasting your time.

Yes, there's a long history of these coaches that draft in the first round one of these players that they are coaching. So, I would look out for that.
