As long as you have graduated you are eligible.
Didn't know that. Thanks for the info

Suffice to say, I'm a bit disappointed.
Oh I know, I just don't envy anyone having to monitor and enforce that policy. It's all connected if you ask me. You mod's have a tough job.
That's why the "Rant Zone" and the "Coaches Zone" exist... to give folks a place to vent. We just do not need them venting the same thing in thread after thread on the Fan Zone.
So you going to make a new zone every time there's a new kind of rant?
A cooking and auto mechanics zone would be good as well, mate!
It has nothing to do with rants. When a subject becomes a huge topic that leads to countless threads by both the media and the users, it helps to keep the Fan Zone open for a variety of discussions by moving all of those same-subject topics to their own forum. The Rant Zone was called the Jerry/Garrett/Rant Zone because for the most part during the season, there were only a few threads here and there about the coaches and front office and only some of those were rant-focused threads so they were moved there.
As the season came to an end, the media started publishing a lot of articles on those topics and a lot of users started creating their own threads as well and it made more sense to create a forum for it. It was no different than when we created the TO Zone a few years ago as it was for the same reason. The real issue is that most users are used to using one forum on this site and most forum sites with even a third of the traffic CowboysZone has have several active forums, not just one.
For users who do not want to visit forums individually, they can easily use the New Posts link at the top which will pull in all of new topics from all forums.
I think there are too many different Zones -- far too confusing and way too many changes. If it were me I'd just create a megathread and just merge stuff into the megathread as it came up, but I'm just here so I don't get fined.
Not the faintest resemblance. Try Opie.
