Cowboys Commanders picks Let's Hear Them

I'm gonna go with my girl to see "Django Unchained" around 4 PM...then we are going to our local sports bar where we watched the Giants and Ravens (our other huge games this year prior to this where we knew the tension would be high).

Part of me wants to sit at a TV screen all day and watch the Chicago vs Detroit and Green Bay vs Minnesota games, (as they could determine whether this game is 100 percent do or die for the Skins) but I know if I do that I'd just drive us both nuts. lol

Dont take the loss too hard. Remember, you Skins fans have a decade of dominance ahead so this loss isnt the end! :lmao2:

I had a vision today. Cowboys take an early big lead, the Commanders make a nice attempt to come back. Turnovers played a big role. Final score: 31-17 Cowboys.

/Yes, so maybe alcohol was involved.
//I also got a vision of Ricky Waters being knocked back for a huge loss in the early 90's.

For the cowboys this weekend:

Respectability comes with just having a franchise QB. Dominance I'll wait to say until after a second Lombardi within a decade :) lol Besides that ******* Mara still has the 18 million cap penalty handicapping us from bolstering our pass rush and secondary.

Good news for the weather impacted predictions I read early in the thread. As of late Friday the DC area has 0% chance of rain on Sunday, gametime temp of 35 and 10mph wind. Weather will have little to no impact on the game.

This is going to resemble our opening night win in NY. We shock everyone with a quick start and never look back.

Our healthy OL and Murray will be the difference for us on offense from our 1st meeting. They will have no answers for our balanced attack.

We score on 4 of our 5 1st half possesions and lead 20-13 at the half. We score on 1st 2nd half possesion and go on to win 37-23.

This game is all about our offense and it's best production of the year. Romo is a flawless 24 of 34 for 316 yards, 3tds and no picks. But Murray gets the game ball going for 140 yards on 20 carries and catches 6 for 80.

On the defensive side of the ball, Griffin's health limitation takes our D with a part time Ware off the hook. They never hit us for big play TD or get the running game rolling without Griffin's run threat. They get theirs, but without the big plays, operating out a mostly conventional offense, they repeatedly stall in the redzone.

Washington 33
Dallas 13

I've seen Garrett's work in this situation for years ... and it ain't pretty.

Cowboys win 31-27

Romo pulls another last minute drive to win the game. Dez triple teamed in the end zone while Witten, as he always seems to do, finds an open spot for the 18yd winning TD catch!

:skins:

Im gonna say 35-10 Dallas.....we dominate from the start....defense starts on fire......Cousins in by 3rd qtr.....out by 4th

31-27 Dallas with a late surge falling short by the Skins and we hang on for the win.

Ugh Mondays suck at work anyhow, but a Cowboys loss will be hell at work being the only Cowboys fan there. The last loss was agony for days after.

My recommendation is to take Monday off; get some rest, savor the big win win.
