One thing we're all overlooking is if the kickoff is a touch back, the ball comes out to the 35. Man, that places a lot of pressure on the defense. Another crummy rule change and that's not really the word I initially wanted to use.

so why did the D get crushed by the Packers in the playoffs with Parsons on the field (who registered 0 sacks?)

Brother I'm just referencing the stats. If you want my OPINION it's because every offense in the league takes note where Parsons is at all times and more often than not he's the guy in a 4 man rush facing the double team. Also didnt help that Dak threw the game away early and the Packers got off to hefty lead very early.

Second-half defense was quite good. Allowed three points, kept the running game and hurts in check. First-half defense was quite awful. Against the Giants, the defense was mostly just awful.

The rain delay killed the offensive momentum for both teams.

The rain delay killed the offensive momentum for both teams.

It's easy to blame it all on that, but we got pressure and we stopped the run. You have to play the circumstances, and we did well in that situation. It doesn't mean a lot, but I'm not going to take away that the defense played well. The offense let us down in that one after the defense stepped up in the second half.

While we avoided 0-2 and all that comes with that with a win I came away with more concerns than reliefs.

Our defense made a QB on his last legs look in SB form as Wilson threw for about 450 yards. And that was after they were flagged for almost 200 yards in penalties. How many leads did we give up. Truly incredible.

I can’t recall coming away from a win so discouraged. This defense is even worse than I imagined. Could be our worse defense this era . And we’ve had some bad ones.

Well, the Jints have that honor. Lol

They earned it lol. I’ve never seen a drive like their first drive. Ate up almost a whole qtr, and I’ve never seen that many plays run on a drive that ended in a FG. That drive would be hard to duplicate even if you tried. But the only thing that stopped them was themselves. The good news is Wilson won’t be the guy throwing deep balls on us most of the rest of the season. He’s a really good deep passer and our secondary needs some serious work

Dak has been lights out! He is the reason this team was even in both games to start this season. That you refuse to admit the obvious clearly proves how much you hate him.

Just own it. I would respect you more if you did so.

The reason we were in the Eagles game is the core players: Dak, Lamb, Pickens, the interior OL, and surprisingly Javonte Williams.

On defense, it's been a mixed bag. I have a feeling the Giants offense only gets better as the season goes on. They looked really good to me.

I think it'll get better..
