They talked to secondary coaches for Schwartz and Flores, so these two top tier DCs are probably on the list for the Cowboys. Maybe some restraints are in place at the moment.

The Cardinals and Ravens defenses were better than ours in 2025, but not by a lot. Seems like we'd want to avoid anyone involved with the bottom defenses. Browns, Vikings and Broncos were all top five. Now, we're interviewing assistants for those defenses and not the DCs, but I'm just wary of pulling from any team that played poor defense in 2025.

Whitecotton, Gannon and Orr would not be on my list just based on how the defenses they were at least partly responsible for played.
