I wish they could've landed him, but I'm glad they didn't overpay. He's a FA next season, and now he knows the Cowboys have interest. Maybe Dallas will be his first stop.

I had predicted Jerry would make a move for D-Line. Was pretty adamant it would happen.

But I'm glad Jerry had a price in mind and stuck with it.

Sounds like something Jerry would do if he felt his team were close. Whatever the offer was, glad we tried, glad we didn't overpay.
You make the call. Your foolish not to. A guy you thought in 2013 would be the key to your conversion and has gone on to have a very successful career, you have to inquire.

However, you dont give up a premium pick for a guy you are going to have to give a huge contract to

We don't even have the cap space. I wonder what the plan would have been if they did accept.

I would have offered them Escobar or Hanna, Dunbar, and McFadden. 3 Starters!

That's neither a correct talent evaluation...nor is it how trades work in the NFL.

He would have been a great pick up.
If the team had aaron donald, lorenzo alexander, marcus peters, and von miller we would be unstoppable. Just 4 players. Only 4
