ok wasnt sure, but the player is about same as a lower round pick?Patriots traded their first for Brandin Cooks, not to accumulate more picks.

Hahaha it's so true. They love telegraphing their picks.
It's fun for us fans, but when other teams snipe your guys a pick or two before you. Then it's not funny anymore.
Sanders had 1400 return yards in his college career
King 0
Sanders had 14 interceptions w/3 pick six in his college career
King 6 int, no TDs
Sanders ran a 4.27 40 time
Kevin King did not
But sure bro...King is next Deion
Why do you have to open your mouth and tell everyone who your going to draft....that's why the Falcons jumped ahead of us today.
Someone needs to tell him and Jerry to shut up. Its like playing poker while showing your hand. Now someone might jump us tomorrow for a CB, cause they know exactly what we will
I have confidence the FO made the right decision. That's why they get paid the big bucks.
Welcome to the Cowboys, Taco!
Let's not pretend like they aren't very transparent with their pre-draft visits. What are you guys talking about?
Telegraph their picks? Holy hell. Hours before the draft the media in this town was claiming signals from the FO were they wanted a CB at 28.
You guys are literally making things up to justify your outrage.
I have no problem at 28 taking a player with a second rnd grade but I do think there were db's that are much better prospects. I get if there is a better RB or te prospect but it's not like we can't use a db18 first round grades....Pick 28....you do the math
Maybe it was a miscommunication. Jerry was hungry and said "get me a taco".......bam! Next thing you know, we're submitting our card for Taco.then why not move down, get an extra pick and still get Taco........tunnel vision in the war room apparently
You can't agree with the FO around here. Trusting professionals that actually have all the experience and info needed to make a very educated decision is frowned upon by all the internet GM's.

I had them going EDGE in the first all the way. Stephen said they loved the depth at DE and CB this year. Yet, their pre-draft visits were really top heavy at DE. On the other hand, they met with CB's all throughout Day 1, 2, and 3.
Oh, and I'm not "outraged." I love the strategy. Been pleading for us to go pass rusher first, then CB for the past few weeks.
Same people that drafted manziel \?? Same ones that didnt draft Dak in round 1 or 2 ??You can't agree with the FO around here. Trusting professionals that actually have all the experience and info needed to make a very educated decision is frowned upon by all the internet GM's.
yeah it wasnt a bad pick, only time will tell, but now comes the 2nd round !!!!!!!!While I despise the pick, it's really hard to argue with the Cowboys, they haven't managed to screw up a first rounder in a long time.

He may be a good player but purely as a prospect I think we passed on better players at positions of need
No a ridiculous take is overreacting about this "full round" value crap. Full round is too broad a statement. Do you actually think there is a full round difference in terms of value between Charlton and, for ex. King? I personally don't see it.What a ridiculous take. You don't jump values by a full round. Period.
yeah only time will tell, have to wait and see what king does, and what taco does.No a ridiculous take is overreacting about this "full round" value crap. Full round is too broad a statement.
