Darn, I forgot about him, hope he plays and plays well, some extra edge pressure would be a good addition for the next few games.
 
I really hope Clowney can go. Hes been a massive help. If we can get him past this game hes got 10 days and then if he needs to sit again we can probably afford not to have him vs the Vikings.

I think that some of these players the coaches want them to play but it's a numbers game they got a plenty of tackles right now to play but they're short on pass rushers and safeties so that they have to go long at another position that some of these guys are going to stay inactive...

It is crazy now, Mazi gone, Toia out, Winfrey can't get on the game day roster because Osa, Clark, Williams and Thomas are healthy and balling out.. quite a change..

Agreed. We're getting good end play from him both against the run and pass. I guess the positive is that Sam Williams has been playing well of late if he has to absorb some of Clowney's playing time. Might be a prove-it game for him.

If Winfrey was sitting while Mazi and Toia got snaps, what more do you need to know?

And why would you think he would get snaps now after we added Clark and Williams?

He was injured II still don't know where you want to push these conversations winfrey is better but he'd been on IR most of the year he just recently was pulled off IR and now he's in his window and I believe he now can be active if they wanted him to play we're talking about stay in real time here we're not talking about the beginning of the year he was not available...

Again, they stashed him on IR.. Winfrey is actually one of the better players that I saw in preseason and training camp I guarantee that if there was a spot they put him in that's my point we're so deep there now that a guy like him is being left inactive even when healthy...

Stashed him? You think they are hiding him?

He was a 4th round pick and played as a rookie in Cleveland. Then they cut him after 1 season.

The Jets added him to their practice squad and then released him. We got him from the UFL.

He is where he belongs and will not be called up barring major injuries.

Thats true, I actually forgot about how well SW has been playing. Hope it carries over.
